So why can't you ask ladies to bring rates in line with the times? It is called a "market" and markets fluctuate. Many are already reducing rates under the guise of "specials". As they say you can put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig. I would assume your house was worth more last year than this year? Same with your car, but that is a depreciating asset so not the best analogy.
Now we will hear from the white nights who are trying to ingratiate themselves who will say the hobby is different. But in the end it isn't. The women are selling a product and you are the consumer who is buying the product. If you believe otherwise stop hitting the pipe.
Discretionary and luxury items like the hobby can always be negotiated. If I have learned anything it is to open my mouth and ask in a very nice way. The worse they can say is no! As Gretzky said "you miss 100% of the shots you don't take."
Lastly, the economy ain't turning around anytime soon. As POTUS Bush II stated about Wall Street they must have been drunk. Same goes for the US consumer. Debt has increased in 8 years from $8 trillion to $15-16 Trillion. Oh, and the Govt just announced the biggest deficit in history. Don't look for any real economic uptick until 2011 as it will take a long time to pay down both US and Consumer debt. We are in a cylical bear market in the US.

I can't tell you how hard these past couple of months have been for most.
We all thought the economy would turn around or at least stabilize.
It's depressing not being able to see the regular ladies or the ATFs. We certainly can't ask the ladies to bring rates in line with the times.
So we simply must do without. Therefore, this goes out to the ladies and gents of better times!!
Hope to see you sooner than later!!
** Please note, this is not a bitch, gripe or whine. Simply a note of better times and memories. So don't read into it!! **
No

I don't know about you, but my economics are not down right now, in fact I am UP and I'm loving it!
I'm enjoying the opportunities presented because of the overall downturn.
But, don't be so glum, these down times will pass & things will get better.
Every woman is free to charge whatever she wants. That is a fact that nobody can deny.
1) If she has enough business at her current rates, then she is charging the correct amount.
2) If she is not busy enough, and would like more business, she needs to lower her rates.
3) If she is turning customers away because she is too busy, she can raise her rates, with the understanding that she might raise them too high and have rule #2 take effect.
So ladies, if you are not busy enough, lower your rates, and increase business. It is simple supply and demand. Looking at it that way is the totally logical way.
Anybody who says things like "Well if she lowers her rates she will not be as classy, or is stooping to a lower class of business" is full of it. This is a business, and nothing more. It is probably the business where the decision to spend the money is the most discretionary in terms of whether to partake or not. It is most certainly not a "need", but is in fact a "want" for pretty much every customer.
Why do you think that GM is offering things like zero % financing on their big trucks for 6 years? Why do you think that many companies are offering big sales? Why do you think that other companies are offering incentives to "buy now"? They are simply practicing good business sense.
There will always be exceptions to every rule. There are women who can command thousand $ per hour without issue. Her customers are not affected by the current economic climate at all, or if they are is still results in available hobbying money which is so far above the average person.
OTOH the "regular" woman who has "regular" customers is probably suffering if her rates are out of line with what others in the area are charging. The issue is that some of these women think that by stopping availability of other women by attacking them will allow them to command the higher rates that they have been getting all along. It is simply supply and demand. They think that by stopping supply the demand will grow. The problem is that with the general economic downturn women who are more "affordable" are going to be the busier women simply because of basic economics.
Why do you think that a used Honda Civic is worth 95% the price of a brand new one? Because the fuel economy of the used one is quite good, and it is where the customer is going now. Big Expensive trucks, SUV's and the like are not in demand right now.

We can certainly ask. They will either say yes or no. If they are not busy at all, and say no, then it is their fault for not being busy..
Again, as I said before, there are exceptions. There are women who see very few men each week, so for them, the number of customers does not change even when times are bad. Using specific examples to "prove" that everything said above is false is not a valid argument.

I do not think so, as I was not talking about "cheap" providers. I was merely discussing the good average and above average providers who's business is suffering.
But anyways, I have three women I see on a pretty regular basis who charge me significantly less than the amount that many men consider average. We have an incredible time, and we truely enjoy each other's company. The relationship is way beyond mechanical GFE. It is more like a true girlfriend that I happen to give some money to.
I keep up with them on their off-the-clock times, and they are interested in me also.
Less expensive does not equal a less satisfying experience.
Everything you say is right on...but what you are missing is that some ladies are totally driven by ego. They would rather be homeless or starve before they give in and offer a lower rate to anyone..including guys they have known for years.
In the case of a woman who is driven more by ego, than simple business 101, they will of course not be as busy.
Look, first we get people who say that is a business, and any time a man stays even 2 minutes late, he should pay for his extra time, etc. Then we have others who say it is not a business because it involves intimate encounters. Well which is it?
In pretty much every business I have ever dealt with, I always get special treatment for being a frequent customer. It is simply a great way to keep your good customers.
Even if that amount is a small $25 or an extra few minutes or whatever, it makes the customer want to come back for more.
