"manscaping" recommendations?

as some on the ladies on this board know, i'm not that hairy a guy, but i wouldn't mind a professional (or at least well-seasoned) hand in trimming the boys. anything's probably better than standing in a steamy shower with scissors. it's damn near terrifying.

i'm not set on providers, but even salons, AMPs, any recommendations or even hearsay. i'm not homophobic, so i'd even let a dude sculpt the nuggets as long as he knows the landscape. anyone help a brother out?

some soap or shaving gel to lubricate and a steady hand with a razor.
i just started earlier this year and i had a decent jungle down there. was just as scared of a razor on the balls as you are. trimmed pretty low with scissors and then just take it nice and easy and you'll be fine. and when you're done it feels fucking awesome throwing on a pair of jeans and going out commando

DON'T LAUGH ... OK you can. Sally Hansen Extra Strength Creme Bikini Hair Remover works great ... liberally apply before a shower and GENTLY wipe off with a face cloth. Apply a liberal amount of Shea Butter whilst you finish your shower ... and voila ... golden nuggets ... allthough they might be a bit red!

NOTICE: WARNING! You can leave this on too long and you won't be going out to play.

Practice this once before your meeting with the golden goose and then you'll develop the proper protocol for doing this for a same daY ADVENTURE.

The Shea Butter is important because it removes the scent of the hair remover ... you don't want the boys smelling like dat!

Huh ? Scissors ? "dude sculpt the nuggets" ? Heres a lil' tip, start with a beard/mustache trimmer, then use a twin blade razor. You'll be sore the first couple of days, but once you shave every other day for a while there will be no iritation. No need for 3-4 blade razors. Balls are much easier to shave when your balls are tight, not hanging. Theres many benefits of shaving.. so much cleaner as the pubes dont hold sweat, penis is much more sensitive, and all ladies like a man to be as clean as possible.

I have had success with Neet. Great results on the shaft and balls. I have come to understand that not all boys are alike and react differently to hair removal products. I would advise against applications on consecutive days as even my boys can only take on so much torture. Twice a week works great for me. To be used in a steamy shower don't let the package get wet first.. just expose them to the steam. Neet is package with a no-blade removal tool.

If you don't feel the sting after the application, I would advise against the creams as they can clog pours and accelerate the sweat on your ride to the appointment. Just apply soap and water after. Wet wipes are your friends!

Find a nice trimmer that has various length settings to trim the shubbery.. or go crazy with the neet if you like the bald look.

Just think of it...Somebody you don't know, pouring hot, molten wax on your crotch, then ripping out all of the hair on your balls by the roots...I think I'm gonna put this one on hold. It took me long enough to get that close to my balls with a sharp instrument.

I've had a couple of ladies offer to lend a hand with the shaving, but haven't taken either of them up on it yet.

Trim the excess hair (as much as you can do without cutting yourself) then

veet for sensitive skin. I have tried this on a gent before and from my experience it is not as harsh as sally hansen (which tends to burn after a few mins) being that it is a product made for womans hair you may have to experiment with the length of time it needs to stay on

If you choose to go with the hair removal creams  no matter the brand may I suggest you spot test it first in the pubic area but not too close to the family jewels

hope that helps

right after shaving the area, apply a non-scented stick deodorant(not gel) to the area and you won't have any problems.

Been doing this for years now.

The first time you use a hair removal product, I suspect there will be some "irritaion";ie you're balls will feel like they're on fire ... but the result is quite smooth ...

Speaking from experience, future endeavors for smooth jewels resulted in much less sensitivity, regardless of the product.

Guys, remember your first shave ... your face prob felt like someone lit a match on it ... same goes further south ...

If you are shaving as a follow up to a recent "nair" experience, hair conditioner with Aloe works great ... you need a new blade, a tight sac and a steady hand ... I DON'T THINK I NEED TO REMIND YOU HOW TO TIGHTEN THAT SAC, RIGHT!

As for the steady hand, your survival will guide you like Tarzan through the jungle!

so sounds like this is pretty much an easy solo job. might have to invest in the beard trimmer. not so sure i want to go the chemical or wax route, though. maybe when i get to manscaping 102, i'll give it a shot.

thanks.

You can buy an electric trimmer at Targets.  Its great for that unwanted chest, back and shoulder hair and, yes, the balls area too.

I'm shocked that none of the other ladies have mentioned that shaving too much above the shaft can be very very painful!!!  Or should I say that leaving things prickly in or around that general area can cause a painful rash.  Just sayin'.
