There was a provocative post below about some reviews with really low scores for some great ladies.   In one of the cases I looked at the hobbyists other reviews and although his scores were low, they were consistent so there's something to be said for that.  I'm curious how others approach this...  Here are a few of my thoughts:

I believe that you should rank based on comparison to women in the real world.  If you sit and watch random people at the Burlington Mall, a sane person would realize that most ladies in this profession are better looking than average.  But if you watch TV and movies, you'll realize that there are few 10s.  Given this, I find that I generally rank looks between 6 and 9.

The next factor that comes into play is personal taste.  I personally like younger and thinner looks.  I recently ranked tiny Charlotte from RSG an 8 where many guys might not like a tiny girl like that (but I just checked her reviews and it seems she's doing fine).  By contrast a lot of guys like big butts and BBWs - just not my thing.   I also think that you have to rank based on who you selected.  If you see Nicole (frequent poster sweetnicole1), you know that her age is 49ish and she shares lots of pictures, so you shouldn't rank her looks like a 25 year old.

I let personality influence my ranking of looks.  If a provider is especially nice, sweet, engaging, etc. I'll round up on looks and in the opposite case I'll round down.  I think that Bri (Exclusively Bri) might have been a 10 in looks when I saw her a few years ago but she wasn't particularly nice to me so I gave her a 9.  

I kind of regret not giving Angel Exotic a 10 but it does say "once in a life time" and I had previously given a 10 to "Sweet Sasha" who retired from the business a few years ago.  I guess after your 10 retires, you are allowed to give another 10.

What do others think?

I think your approach is very reasonable, and similar to mine:  extra points for personal tastes, her demeanor/personality, etc.  I've had similar experiences with a couple of the ladies you've mentioned, and I would agree with your assessments.  I tend to be an easy grader (not exactly a lay for an A, but appreciative of women in many shapes and sizes), so I've given out a few 10s.  How do you compare a Rembrandt to a Monet?  Each is uniquely beautiful, so why does one have to be #1?  Nice topic for discussion.

If I ran into her on the street, the score is be the number of blocks that I would follow.

Real easy...

Has all hair +1
Waist smaller than ass +1
Make up properly applied +1
Clean/showered/smells good +1
Has all teeth +1
Facial features evenly distributed +1
Breasts not loosing the battle to gravity +1
Firm body (no hail damage) +1
Leaving 2 pts for personal taste and/or obvious to anyone hottie...

and yes, you should have given Angel a ten. Bad Monkey!

Most importantly...be realistic. Most of us couldn't land these ladies in the civie world. If they are beautiful...then they are beautiful. Give them a good number. They are just like any other woman in the world...even if they know they are pretty, they still like to be told.

my opinion is the personality should not influence the ranking for looks; the number value.  that's why we have descriptive narrative parts to describe the persoanality, the energy level she brings or the atmosphere she creates.  if I walk in an expect a 9 then she needs to be attractive with her features (i get to each his own but there are limits); all mood etc...can either enhance that to make it worthwhile or detract from the experience.

I have noticed,  more then a few times....... And I certainly do not want to call anyone out.  If you go see a provider and she happens to be really thin and not your thing why does her looks lower her performance score?  Because you are angry she is not the body type you were looking for?  I read in the review she was super tiny,  not my taste I like bigger girls, but performance she provided BBBJ, CIM rimming DFK, massage etc (no comaplaints on the skills)  so how does that get a 6 in performance?  Seriously can anyone help me out on that one??    Is that fair?

Perfect - Pretty much my scale too although I do use stronger hygiene scale.

I just returned from LA.  The reviews there are so highly inflated the numbering scheme is next to worthless.  I would rather have some variability in the score that account for personal taste then everyone being marked a 9 or 10.

Thanks for your post Heidi!  This goes back to my original point that you need to rank based on your selection.  If you choose a 50 year old you can't rank them like their 25, and if you choose a thin Asian girl, then you shouldn't have expected J-Lo or Beyonce's butt.
