For those who don't know the story...I met Crystal back in my early hobby days (Nov 04).  I had maybe 3 reviews and needed to be verified.  At that time I shared one cell phone with my wife, and did not have it with me.  I arrived at the hotel and called Crystal from a hallway payphone.  The skittish Crystal asked me to go to another payphone outside a store across the street...guess she wanted to see what I looked like?  It was a cold evening (about 20F) and my fingers were not working so well in the cold.  I dialed the wrong #...down to my last quarter for the phone, and the line was busy.  After a few minutes we connected, met in person outside in the cold, and drove back across the street to check in.

Now hobbying is so easy and convenient.  The early days were a lot more adventurous, although I have to admit they were just as much fun.
