Do you see them?

Do providers think the hobbyist is a cheapo when only booking 30 minutes
or is it a respect of time thing?

Your thoughts if any?

I have had 30 minute dates in the past.  I refer to them as "introductory" dates.  I know there are some providers who may consider "introductory" as 60 or 90 minutes.

If I am very intrigued by a providers ad or website and if she offers the 30 minutes of if she asks me while booking I'll tell her I'm interested in her "30 minute introductory date."

I started out like that with two of my favorite regulars....
(That reminds me...I have some extra time on my hands this weekend lol)

Book 30 minutes and leave if she's a dud.  If I liked her, would ask to extend the date longer if her schedule allowed.

In fact I sometimes extended hour dates (if both of us still had enough energy) and her schedule allowed.  Those dates were hot!

As a general statement I never have one hour available mainly because combining travel time, etc, one hour is more than one hour.  I do have circumstances that require visibility and I usually am unable to commit the amount of time an hour appointment entails.  Therefore, I will usually only seek 30 minute spots and if the provider does not make this time period available, I move on.

I know I'm new at this, but I would think that 30 minute appointments would increase the risk of attracting unwanted attention. Especially if you're talking about incalls, may as well stick a "now serving number X" sign on your door.

I saw a provider once who said she preferred to book a 15 minute date so she could squeeze 4 in an hour at 100 bucks a pop rather than 250 for an hour with one guy.  She said most guys would spend about 7-8 minutes and be out the door.

I'm glad she told me that after we were done and also that she had just checked in so I was probably the first to see her that day.
