I am left in awe of the magic,
Her mystery beauty and strenghth,
Ever changing and always steady,
Confirming each time what a powerful force she is.

Beauty beyond expression,
No where to begin or end,
she is forever timeless.
Taking my breath away with no surprise.

Waves rolling in steady succession,
Curling just so, such Passion and Intent,
Shimmering in the sunlight,
Like Christmas lights all a glimmer.

Breaking on the sandbars at low tide,
Exhausting itself on the sand,
And the sea takes it back,
Reclaiming what is hers.

Wave by wave, inch by inch,
The tide rolls in and she steals back her beach.
Yet again tomorrow, she will hold back the tide,
Revealing all her treasures.

These are from my Dads rose garden. My daughter and my Dad planted these when she was just 5yrs old. That was 24yrs ago this fathers day.
They are in full bloom for Fathers day.
