Now, I took Cooking as a senior in high school. When a friend suggested that we take the class together (instead of wood shop), I initially thought he might be gay. However, he made a valid point. Most guys take Wood Shop, most girls take Cooking. Where would you rather spend your time?
I hear to many stories about guys who try to use their status as a TER reviewer to intimidate the ladies into a lower rate or extra service so I would not want her thinking I was trying to do that.
My advice: It's better to not let your TER handle out at all (I wish I'd known that). A bad review might get you blacklisted and in general, it's tougher to say something uncomplimentary even if it is true. It messes up the whole system.
It's kind of a catch 22 sometimes, I'm afraid, because many indies and some agencies want your TER handle as a reference. So, sometimes they know you're using TER anyway.
In general, it's best not to bring it up at all. People are more relaxed in general if they don't feel like they're being graded. Just ask my fourth grade Home Economics teacher, Mrs. Simpson. She made me completely ruin a perfectly good batch of cupcakes because I knew she was grading my performance. I haven't been the same since.......
