Laws

I'm entirely sympathetic to laws that target human trafficking, but there seems to be a widespread misunderstanding in the public of what most of the business is. There's a big difference between a girl who is a victim and one who is out to pay some bills and these one-size-fits-all laws undermine faith in the judicial system, I say.

Just because the legislature consists mostly of lawyers, I'm sure they would never pass things like this to get more business.

I don't think that child sex trafficking or slavery should have anything to do with consenting adults making a mutual decision involving consensual activity.

I agree it comes down to consensual vs. consensual.

Attached is an article about a modern day withchunt from the 90's

Maybe you can see the parallel between the dangers of this kind of hysterical thinking.    When issues like human trafficking are too unwieldy to address, it is easy to go after your average Jill or Joe, instead of the real perpetrators.  The public becomes satisfied that the evil-doers have been punished.

Disclaimer:  Not sure if the Amiraults In Fells Acre were guilty but I do know that a lot of innocent people were accused in similar circumstances.

And I particualry don't agree with how he refers to providers as "hookers" or "prostitutes". Is there some seedy things going  on backpage or running around the streets of Dorchester, Chelsea and Lowell? Of course. But for the most part 90% of what goes on is done classy. I've never in my hobbying came across any forced child or drugged out woman being forced into having sex. I'm sure it happens, but to target a whole demographic of people that aernt bothering anyone is asanine and it proves why Martha lost her run for the Senate seat. Of all the fucked up shit goin on in this state with the highest rate of prescription drug abuse in this country, illegal immigration and crooked politicians. These people need to find something better to do with their time. And Marth just needs to come to terms that she's a man hating lesbian and needs one of the girls on here to give her a good railing with a strap-on, maybe that would lighten her up.

Leave the racist anti- immigration comments out of this. Everything else you said I agree with though.
