Just a thought about Memorial Day

Dear Friends,

I was lucky, young and absent enough to never have to take up arms for my country. But I have had plenty of family and friends over the years who have been touched by war and by those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

To those of you that have personally sacrificed for our freedoms, I thank you, each and every one. It is because of you and those like you that we have this wonderful life in this greatest of all countries.

To those who have suffered the loss of family or friends to the grim reaper of war: my thoughts are with you on this memorial day. I salute you as well.

As we enjoy BBQ and beer on our day off, I hope we take a pause to remember what memorial day is all about.

Milton
