How creepy is that?  Cool as a cucumber exterior, wallet full of the cash that you just took from women you robbed and/or murdered, taking the fiancee out for cosmos and to gamble it away?

This guy wasn't even a good gambler so the casino says.  So Julissa's life wasn't even worth spending the money on something tangible.  It was just going to be swept away by the casino after a few seconds of poor betting and self-indulgence.

That jacket worn in the shooting of that sweet girl, shot at close range, anyone who has ever watched csi or any of those shows knows, burn the clothes, all of them. There is gunpowder residue and blood spatter on his clothes no doubt. And its hers. So they will have soon enough. The evidence just keeps piling up. Oh no...they do have him cold. His ego arrogance and stupidity as well as his opinion for the authorities and their ability to hunt him down, yes he has hung himself. Its all good. I am sure his prints are on the gun and ammo as well.

I wondered from the same day he shot the poor girl how he got 3 shots off and no one heard it and he walked away without blood all over him?? If he did have blood on him how did he walk thru a hotel and down the street with no one noticing?

blood spatter can be small microscopic specks. On a dark jacket he may not even have noticed it. One speck of her blood is all thats needed to convict him. Its called back splatter, and at close range shot 3 times theres more than one most likely and there will be gunpowder residue on the cuffs of his coat and sleeves.  If by shooting her he got blood on his hands he most likely wiped it on his clothes. Or  blood on his shoes, and hes caught. Its just a matter now of letting the forensics do their thing and waiting for all the tests to come in. Blood spatter is scientific at close range as is gun powder residue, it will be there. They will find it.

Victims' belongings found at student's home, police source tells the AP

BOSTON - A medical student accused of robbing two women who advertised erotic services on Craigslist, killing one of them, had items belonging to both victims in his apartment, a police source told the Associated Press Wednesday.

The source would not confirm a report by ABC News that the items seized by police included the victims’ underwear. ABC News said two unidentified law enforcement sources said the suspect, Philip Markoff, appeared to be collecting underwear as “souvenirs” from his alleged victims.

The development comes as investigators look into whether Markoff had gambling debts that could provide a motive. Police say the women had advertised exotic services on the Web site Craigslist, and were lured into hotels where their attacker robbed them.

With the trail he left behind I doubt he was smart enough to figure that one out?

Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not  so sure ... please don't get me wrong .. I'm very glad that they caught this person and the crime was just awful and such a shame ... but I believe the ramifications from this are just starting ...  

Watch out for copycats, and I would expect a internet crackdown on all of this ...

i agree there may very well be more stings and the hotels are on hightened alert. Be careful out there ladies and screen screen screen.

Too difficult to get and if you can get one they are extremely expensive ,so i doubt he had one, you see em alot on t.v but in real life they are very rare

It was saddening to see the pics on the News of people outside Julissa's wake.
A story this morning quoted her Mom as crying "She's my daughter, my whole life." She was loved deeply by people. Her death is a tremendous loss for them, and as someone once wrote "We are all diminished by the loss of a life that was unfullfilled and loved."
