"we can work this out" implies that you are looking to negotiate with a lady in regards to either her screening policies or possibly her rate.  No legitimate lady is going to compromise her safety.  You may not have meant it that way but that's how it is going to read to those you are trying to see.

Consider starting-off with an agency.  They are less likely to require references but they will require personal information-as will any good and safe provider.

Most ladies will not compromise their safety by wavering from their usual screening methods and so you may not be able to 'work this out' with them.  My best advice to you is to join a screening service, like Room Service 2000, Date-Check or P411.
