Boston

It's worth noting here...

Give me a break.

Yeah, the FBI really needs 17 collars to subdue unarmed women.

Oh and for the guest who was shocked that a major prostitution sting was being ran at the posh Long Wharf Marriott: not the first.  There was a sting there no more than six months ago; the Longwharf is now notoriously cooperative in my book so I suggest ladies called by "guests" there just take the night off in the future.

The feds aren't going to find child prostitution setting up shop in the heart of downtown Boston but they already know this.
Waste of time & waste of valuable resources.

It sounds excessive to say the least and also "off-target"

It's the same old story that's becoming very frequent around here I'm afraid:

- Boy Calls Girl from CL Ad
- Boy goes to meet Girl from CL Ad
- Boy gets arrested by other Boys (wearing blue) who responded to the same Girls' CL Ad

Moral of story:  Stay away from CL and stick with those who you know.

This has obviously gone beyond the election.  Be safe.

These were providers, not clients.  There were no clients arrested.

That the feds always go after the ladies, not so much their clients.  I agree with Camille that the scope of the feds involvement may go a lot deeper than simply trying to stop child prostitution. Nevertheless the approach of simply calling Craig's List girls randomly and arresting them would indicate that, too a degree, they are using the "lets throw out the net and see what we catch" approach.

Even though this bust didn't target customers the message is the same. Stay away from what you don't KNOW to be safe. Screening protects both the ladies and their customers.

and yeah, the Long Wharf is a dump. It doesn't surprise me at all that they would cooperate with any law enforcement agency that approaches them.
