It goes without saying....

....That if somebody refused on purpose, or did it as a joke or as a way to be a Pain in the A$$, then I would agree completely that he should be black listed.  But I must tell you in all honesty, When I get to the door, I have never just said no thanks and walked. I always fear that the agency would not allow me access again.  I have, on occaision, Paid the fee and excused myself as quickly as possible but that is as close as I have ever come to refusing an appointment.

Board:  Here's what I'm wondering . . .  I had an appointment today with a well-regarded agency, one of the best-known Boston names.  I asked about who was around for an incall, and was given a choice of a few names.  Although I've probably seen a half-dozen ladies from this one agency before, I was steered toward a lady whose physical attributes were the opposite of what I had asked about (and the phone gal knew it).

Why bother lying?  I'm going to find out anyway when the lady opens the door, and at best I'm going to be a bit resentful, and feel cheated by the agency; at worst I'm never going to use their service again.  If the lady's service is so good that it's not going to matter to me once I get to know her, the phone dispatcher should just come clean and say so: "Hey, even though you've always preferred busty (or small-breasted) blondes (or brunettes), I really recommend this gal. I think you'll find her terrific!"  At least that way I wouldn't feel as if I'd arranged my entire afternoon around anticipation over an appointment with a lady who's nothing at all like my usual physical preference.  (Obviously this happened because I couldn't get to a computer to verify what I had been told.)  Some guys like chubby gals, others like 'em petite -- why lie (especially since we're going to find out soon enough anyway)?

...By the way, the most insulting lies are the ones of omission -- "Oh, she's a real doll, with a cute face and a 36-24-36 figure," which might mean the lady is flat-chested and about forty pounds overweight."  (Again, that might be my preference, but why not volunteer that information instead of withholding it?)

This agency may not get my business again.

Have you talked to the agency about your complaint?

Not this time.  This is the 2nd time it's happened with this agency ("fool me once..." as they say), and I'm sure they'd offer me a discount on the next appointment, but the point really is the deceptive advertising with a reliable client.  I don't have the excess cash or time to spend at an appointment with a provider who isn't, frankly, my physical cup of tea.  Even if rocks were gotten off, part of what (I suspect) we pay for is the fantasy element -- getting the "look" that we have in mind, whether it's the MILF type, the coed type, or the sexy librarian.  Once I show up at the hotel room door and I'm faced with a lady in sexy attire, I'm not always going to walk away (although I have, on occasion) because I've been lied to.  I expect that kind of customer non-service from a Craig-list ad-vertiser, not from one of the big local agencies.

I have read and re-read your post and I am not quite sure what it is  that exactly what happened.

From what you are saying, I gather you called an angency and said hi this is Fred and I would like to see a busty blonde or brunette or whatever you asked for. I am assuming they said I don't have the lady you would like to see available but I have Mary, would you like to see her? (did the phone person give you her description, and did you even ask for it?). If not then you should have asked, if so you should have said, no I was really looking for Jane  or someone that fits her description. Now if the phone person lied and told you that Mary looked like Jane, then I could see your point.

I am also getting from your post that you went to the appointment and when Mary opened the door, she did not look like Jane at all, but you decided to stay anyway. You should have excused yourself and declined the appointment.

I am trying to understand what the problem is, did the service lie to you and tell you that Mary looked like Jane? If so then you have every right to be upset and you should contact the agency right away. You decided to stay and now you are upset, it was your choice to stay.

You say that this has happened before, if that is the case then you should have been clear that you only wanted to see Jane or her body style especially since you said that this has happened to you before.

I don't know what agency you are talking about, hell you could be talking about mine for all I know, but what I do know is that you seem to be the one who is at fault, unless of course the phone person outright lied and gave a false description if that is the case, then you should be upset and call them right away and if they don't make it right by you , then by all means you should take your business elsewhere.

Jill:)

....Jill, I think that if a guy declined an appointment after getting to the door, and called to say how disapointed he was, more likely he would not be offered any more appointments by that agency, ever.

MMMm  possibly but not always the case!
I am a BBW not severely fat but still bigger then the average gal on the boards.  I have had clients come to the door and say no thank you and leave!  No big deal not everyone enjoys BBW.
Interestingly enough on one instance Jill sent me the same gent 3 months later!  He said he read my reviews and felt maybe he was missing out on something!  After his half hour he was honest and said although my body type does not meet his fantasy, I still provide the best bbbj he had ever had in his life and he was amazed that he popped twice in 30 minutes!

So although the one opening the door was not what you were looking for instead of toftt, if you have no interest in finding out more about the gal at the door it is always acceptable to excuse yourself and say no Thank yoU!
Call the agency be polite and say she was not what I am looking for. Then be specific... I need a busty skinny co-ed, or whatever it is that turns your crank!

Happy Humping!

Ciao!
Love, Penny XXXOOO

Thats why I liked Holly from "After Dark"
A lot of times she's say to me " I have no one your type today" Try me tomorow.
I respected her for  that becuase the waiting was worth it.

Snooze, That is not always true. I had someone decline an appointment just a few days ago. No big deal, I even have it written on the website that you have every right to refuse your appointment if the lady is not what you expected.

I will however ban someone who does this on purpose. If a client shows up, walks in and starts fondeling the girl then after 5 or 10 minutes decideds to leave, to me that was done on purpose. ( it usually means that they had no intention of actually doing a date but just wanted a little thrill to help them when they go back to their car and JO.) It is kind of like the guy who calls and asks for detailed descriptions of the girls who never books an appointment and you can actually hear him jacking off on the phone.

Jill

Ha ha! Jill, no wonder you're not very chatty on the phone.

....That if somebody refused on purpose, or did it as a joke or as a way to be a Pain in the A$$, then I would agree completely that he should be black listed.  But I must tell you in all honesty, When I get to the door, I have never just said no thanks and walked. No offense, but I think your expectations may be a little out of whack.

First, you saw a provider without viewing her pics. Total no-no in my book. I know pictures are doctored and represent the girls in the best possible light, but it is a baseline without which I do not move forward. Spring for an iPhone or something like that. Otherwise, Caveat Emptor dude.

Second, how is a woman whose only interaction with you is through the phone going to know 'your type'? She handles hundreds of calls a day. Let's do the math. An average 2-call appointment really takes four phone calls on her part(Booking, Arrival, Call to Provider, and Call to Hobbyist). Say she is handling five girls with eight appointments in a day. That is 160 calls assuming everything is perfect. Count in the fact that everything is not perfect plus the dozens of guys who waste her time with "what's she look like?" and so forth and it is easy to imagine she is topping out her phone bill with 400 or so calls a day. In the midst of all this you expect her to recognize your anonymous voice as filtered through the static of a cellular connection and remember, "hey this guy likes these kinds of girls". She was probably just trying to help you out and now you are accusing her of lying. Get real and see point #1.

Third, I read some of your reviews and frankly you seem on the side of overly critical. That's your choice and right; and it is my choice and right to make this observation.

Lastly, I am sure that if this is a well-regarded agency your lack of business will not be met with a bouquet of roses and an apology letter but rather a complete and utter lack of concern as I they most likely are too friggin busy booking appointments!

Sorry for the rant.

Wow everyone is right -- you don't learn!

and whoever posts under me will have the next last word.  See how it works.  For a picture, just look at some of the other threads.

Back off Jack. You claim to be new and don't need to get into it here, especially since you make no sense seeing how he was just complimenting another poster and not trying to "get the last word"

Or should we just get this Dog a Bone?????  Maybe not so new, after all?????  You can have it your way at BK.

As Jill asked, did the agency phone person actually lie to you? Did she say the person she steered you too was a specific type?

As exdaytrader stated, you can't presume the phone lady knows who you are or what your type is. Over the past few months I've used an agency fairly regularly, I am fairly certain when I call the phone person isn't aware of who I am or what person I am calling for.

So without more information from you it's hard to gauge (IMHO).

BTW - why not name the agency?

Okay, some clarifications:

1) The Agency not only knew/knows me, but the lady who makes appointments has heard my description of my type many, many times. More to the point, I specifically asked, on this occasion, whether the provider she was recommending was that specific type ("So she's a short busty Dolly Parton lookalike, right?"). She said (and it was almost exactly these words), "She sure is."
2) Dude, you can't always get to a computer to look at the pics, caveat emptor or not, but when you've dropped a grand-plus on an agency, you would expect them to care enuf about customer relations -- just from a smart business point of view -- that they'll be straight with you. Why piss off a loyal client?
3) No one forced me to go ahead with the appointment, true; but getting me to drive 20+ miles just to show up at the door and turn around -- the issue wasn't whether I got my rocks off during the appointment; the issue was whether it was smart bizness for the Agency.  Short-term, I stayed and they got their cut of the fee; big surprise: a horny guy didn't pass up the chance to get his rocks off with a lady wearing sexy lingerie. Long-term, I'm going to go with a different agency in the future, unless I've got prior experience with a particular lady.
4) Why are so many guys taking the side of the Agency?  So if you find an ad on Craigslist for an automobile and then you drag your ass to some town off of Route 128 to take a look at it, and it turns out the car is NOT as described -- it's got a few dents in it that the seller conveniently forgot to tell you about -- well, hell, you can just turn around and go back home, and you wouldn't be pissed, right?  I suppose if I had only traveled down the block to check out the lady at a local motel in my town it wouldn't be a big deal; but it took me a half-hour to get to the hotel.
Like I said, no fair.
