On an unrelated board, somebody posted that the stock market drop was worse than divorce because  "I lost half my stuff but I still have my wife."

You could have made a settlement with the wife prior to the crash and was required to pay out after. Now that would suck!

Got the divorce gave her the house and cash and you kept the stock -- now she's laughing.....

We split everything right down the middle. She got the inside, I got the outside.
