But you can't blame them, if it's going to coast 3,000 plus to make the trip and you only have books that going to make you 2,000. It's not worth it.
Providers can chime in on this, but I get the feeling that most Boston guy book at the last minute, not weeks ahead of time. That might be the problem. Note most of the ISO last minute, that are on the board. Just my thoughts
I've had that experience in the past, but recently Boston has been treating me super well. So much so that I scheduled another visit immediately after my visit last month and plan on doing it again after this month's visit.
I think it ebbs and flows occasionally. Glad to be on the right side of things this time! xo
Boston hotels are incredibly expensive, I booked mine with free cancelation but if I don't have pre bookings I'm not going to make the trip. My dates are a bit far out (5/24-26) and I realize booking that much in advance might not be an option for some gentlemen, but the fact remains flights and accommodations are best booked somewhat in advance, thus creating a catch 22 of sorts. I visited Boston a few years ago on a personal trip and adored it, really hope a few more guys reach out and schedule soon so I can return.
It's a tough situation. I can understand why providers would be hesitant to visit cities without a few confirmed dates. At the same time, I've seen so many providers cancel trips that I don't bother to pre-book. If a provider is in town, I'll reach out. But it can get frustrating to try to book a meeting, only to be told, "Actually, I'll be in Chicago instead." And as Stephanie pointed out, amorous need is often a larger driver regarding when I'll want to see a provider. Or if I'M traveling, I'll sometimes reach out beforehand.
When a touring girl on my "must see" list says she is visiting Boston, I pick a tentative date based on her planned suburb schedule I get screening taken care of, and expect her to give me a phone number a few days in advance if no phone is published.
9 times out of 10 I end up with the original time planned. I may change day or time, especially if the girl changes her suburb locations from the original plan. I consider myself committed to seeing the girl, and will won't even think of scheduling any other girl that week.
not only visiting providers have to compete with established local providers, they also have to compete with UTR providers, sugar babies, inter-marriage love making, craigslist, backpage, Tinder and even client's hand lol...
and as it was mentioned, most of this industry is driven by impulse buyers who needs their urges satisfied asap ... unless you are a famous porn star ( i cannot emphasize word famous enough), niche market or a big TER board personality , getting confirmed bookings too far ahead can be challenging....
I see an ad for someone coming in a week or so I request a date and time I respond and give references etc- She says I am approved I reach out when the day is near-but no response The I never hear from her again I prefer locals-
but I don't prebook too far out anymore because I've learned it's better to stay flexible. I've prebooked a few times only to have someone else post an ad later that I'd rather see. I've also had plenty of times when the lady has ended up canceling her trip. Now I'll prebook a day or two or even a week out but unless I'm absolutely sure I want to see someone, I don't prebook longer than that. There's enough good options out there that I can only remember once in the last year or two when I really wanted to see someone (anyone lol) and couldn't find a suitable option at the last minute.
One more thing. I recently contacted a visiting lady who LOWERED her normal rates because it was her first visit to Boston. The only time she could see me was 7:30am because she was so busy. I couldn't meet that early so it didn't work out. But I think too many first time visitors think between expensive hotels and Boston's reputation of being a city where guys pay high rates, they can charge a lot. If you don't have any established clients here, don't be surprised if that strategy doesn't work out well for you.
I split my hobbying between NYC and Boston and the two places couldn't be anymore night and day when it comes to providers touring. Touring providers love going to NYC and go back all the time, but so many of them (especially the top ones) refuse to go to Boston. Some had lousy experiences in the past (bad clients, insufficient demand, poor weather, etc.) and won't go back. While others just hear lousy things from their friends and clients and decide to never even bother going. It's really a shame because Boston is great. But it seems to be a vicious cycle at this point.
