The thread posted below regarding slow economic times and its affect on this hobby got me thinking.

Back in the 70s and still popular in some places are food co-ops.  If we took some of the fixed expenses of this business ( the room cost) and shared it with several hobbyist/providers, then everyone could benefit.  

A room is probably "in use" 40% of the day.  The other 60% is dead time. Some providers only work the day shift, some only the night shift.  If there was a way to co-op this expense, then the provider would have less at risk and be able to pocket more money or lower their rates and provide for more.  This could work for indies and agency ladies.

Hobbyist could belong to some network and be pre-screened which would allow for more flexibility in booking appointments.  You could have a selected day like a Monday network.  You could have a geographical network such as the Back Bay network.  Call,find out what time slots are open, then book accordingly.  

This is not an attempt to socialize this business.  This is me thinking, what would Barak do to help de-leverage this segment of the economy.

Request two queen beds and double your capacity. Call for a cot and triple up!

I prefer to put a sign up on the door of the looby with arrows to the room. Three in three out, thanks to slyders' cot, and have the line just keep moving at the door. LOL

And then you CL surfers bitch in reviews about CL girls having their friend wait in the bathroom. See they aren't doing anything wrong...they practicing sound economic suggestion above!

I used to pick up this streetwalker in the theater district who shared a hotel room (a double) with two or three other girls.  Nothing like walking into the room, seeing both beds occupied and having to wait in the bathroom...

Also, in my opinion at least, this sort of situation would create entirely too much traffic in the hallway of a hotel to be discrete.
