Kate you seem to constantly immitate others in this community. Immitation it's the sincerest form of flattery. You act like you are the best thing since yeasty sliced bread. Others seem to be the sludge under your feet. I laugh at how you complain about the hype and commercialized web sites and yet you go on and on and hype how much better you are. Just a tad hypocritical aren't we?

You need a life besides hanging on every word of a chat posting forum. My post in no way applies to board posters who in fact I do not see. (I actually turn them away) It applies to lurkers and non posters OVER 40 who are looking to take the leap but unsure that they want to be one of many in a day. It also allows my regular friends to know I am available.

Let me ask you, how many woman enjoy just this little corner of a niche market?

TT2, you being a 'salesman' should know there is a market for everything. There is absolutely nothing that I have stated that is NOT true and if what I said struck a nerve with you- too bad!  

See who you want and be their big board hero but don't meddle in other provider business. Honestly, you are the perfect example time and again (when you post) of the kissy ass guy who needs to feel important by posting on a chat board. A prime example of the type of man I have no desire to meet.

My angle towards providing something different to mature professional gents over 40 is none of your business. If you don't like my posts, simply don't read them. Nobody has a gun to your little head.  

As for the competition, I don't feel that I have any. I'm in a league of my own.  Speaking about immitation, there is nothing about MY marketing that imitates anyone, yet MANY times my unique style has been copied verbatim.

as to whether to express some thoughts that occurred as I read this thread and its counterpart on the other board, I have decided to throw in my two cents worth. Having been in sales myself, I remember being taught how to paint word pictures to get a prospect thinking about whether they might want what I was selling. The ladies are salespeople too.....offering a service. And in my three years of lurking, one thing I have decided is that this hobby, in part, deals with fantasy and the means to fulfill them. Hiding away with a lovely, sexy lady certainly appeals to mine. I was not surprised to see Kates responses as to what her target market was, because as one who had not yet jumped in to the hobby, the low volume thing always appealed to me for one reason or another. BTW Kate, as to your responses, I will just comment.....Well Said, my dear. Now as a sales person, once the desire was developed in the prospect, then came the features and benefits, so they could justify the purchase. To me, this is equal to the unrushed experience, caring, low volume type of comments kate used. Now dont get me wrong, I am not being critical of ladies who see more than one client a day. I just took my first step and saw a very lovely, sweet lady for a grand experience. My schedule allowed me to catch her at the end of both our days. No problem with that.

And on a lighter note, I cant resist, as you would say, Kate, one of my cornball antics. I remember many years ago sitting at a bar in a club where I knew some working girls frequented. I was selling at the time. One of the ladies sauntered up to me, started a conversation and asked me what I did for a living. I said "I'm in sales".  She said, "REally, Me Too." She did a short presentation and successfully closed. Cute little thing...OMR

I am probably going to get flamed for this comment..but I always love when people say "oh I only see one person because it makes the expierence better for the client" I tend to think its because  you really only get a few calls a week...last month I averaged 20-25 calls a week..and I did not see anyone when I was tired ..early in the day or late at night..and its what I prefer..I prefer to be busy..I am not knocking anyone who prefers to see one person a day..but at least tell it like it is..and say I see one person because thats all that calls...mabye its me..but the # of people that call me and ask" are you really in as good of shape as your pics portray'? makes me think that not alot of people choose heavier providers..yes some like it but some dont..I am not trying to start a debate about choices...or weight...but on a whole their is a reason  that some providers charge $500 and some charge $200..its because thats the amount the market will allow  for their services...I am not knocking BBW's..but I had to say something when I keep hearing certain people knocking providers who like to be busy..like to see lots of people..and do

"Since when did IMMITATION have 2 N's." Sorry, Jackel, wrong again. It should be written - since when does IMMITATION ...

"The lack of basic literacy on this board is nothing short of abomination." This sentence is an abomination. I mean, it's just poorly constructed and too wordy.  What in the hell does "nothing short of" mean? It's a stupid phrase.

"stop posting double negatives"  Begin a sentence with a capital letter and end it with a period.

"what you have on your chest is double positives." There are two problems with this sentence, (1) You failed (again!) to begin it with a capital letter, and (2) "double positives" should be preceded by ARE - not is - because double positive is a pleural compound noun.

It is acceptable in modern english to use double negatives if doing so imparts an intended meaning. We no longer subscribe to 2000 year old latin rules of grammar.

Sorry Lube, I just type them in as they come to me.  I save the literary corrections for real work.  This is just a "fun time" for me and I can't be bothered with the nit-picking.

We seem to have this same flame chain about once every 3 months or so.  

Quite candidly, it is getting very boring.  I seems to always involve the same folks and is usually for about the same reasons.

Look, Kate is a great lady and the apple in the eye of several hobbysts.  Some like her style while others prefer something different.  That is why they make several flavors of ice cream, variety and choice.

I would ask the moderators to please keep this kind of crap to a minimum.  Some of us actually pay to be members and this type of thread is really unproductive.

BTW, congrats to sexymegan for getting the type of work load she wants.  On the other hand, there are several providers I know that actually do only see 1-2 people per day even though they are in higher demand.  Megan, your left-handed comment about pricing was kind of low and really had no place in this conversation.  I don't care if you charge $1 or $1,000, it all depends on the clients you are seeking.  Candidly, I happen to think Melinda is worth much more than she charges, but she's happy with her rate and those of us that see her are pleased with it as well (now don't let this go to your head, Melinda! (smirk, smile)).

Just my opinion and I could be wrong.

Please don't moderate me for the commentary, Thirsty, I tried to be diplomatic about it (grin).

and as to rates, even though I have only just seen my first lady, I dont believe the rate has any bearing at all on the service level or how good or bad a given provider may be. Megan kind of said it herself when she said "whatever the market will bear". If a lady thinks she is worth $500 per hour, go for it and I hope she does well. I know that the there are many fantastic ladies  out there at less money who take good care of their clients. I just had the good fortune of meeting one recently. ......

And you are right. In my three years of lurking, I know, while controversial to some, plain bitch to others, Kate is the apple of many hobbyists eye. I look forward to the day I get to meet her in person......OMR
