Any Newbie friendly providers available today in the area? I ended up getting today off last minute and thought its a good day to jump into the hobby

Take the time to look for a great girl who's compatible with you. Get the assets and qualities you're looking for. Check out her site, check her reviews, see if she has a board presence. All those things add up to a great experience. You'll appreciate that you took the time looking for "her" than merely picking any girl who just sends you an email saying, "I'm available today!".
