Stealing deposits happens more than we believe. Here was a case of a well reviewed established SW grasping a opportunity because, she could. Another reason never to give a deposit in this market. So many providers don’t require deposits, so no need to take the chance. it’s like leaving your wallet on the dresser. unnecessary risk.
Why would anyone ever see her again? She's a thief.. Pretty bad for biz I gotta think.. Just sayin.. she's done.. Or should be..

PP is not friendly for sex businesses, likely will kick off a user if reported. (I don't know any of the parties discussed, just know many sex workers don't use PP because they have history of closing accounts and seizing funds.)
You're right, pp has that reputation. If she's smart, she keeps her pp acnt empty, so the worst they can do to her is shut down her acct. I wouldn't think it'd be too much trouble to start another one. At least a helluva lot less trouble than it takes me to make six bills after taxes. Meanwhile, the guy has also reported himself to pp for having used their system to pay a SW. His acct will also be shut down and if they did get any cash back from her, it's not going back to him. Maybe he ends up on some gov list, and maybe he doesn't.
Assuming it's all true, his best bet to put a dent in her bottom line is reporting, as he has and I'm sure everyone appreciates. Consider it a very expensive but memorable lesson and walk away.

You can bash me or shame me or whatever you like but this doesn't sound like Savannah at all. I've seen her a few times. She may try to bump 60 to 90 min or 90min to 2hrs but something's not right. There has to be another side to the story.

As a provider that requires deposits for a tour, this is absolutely disheartening. One, it can completely ruin a business and (2) it makes it that much harder for those of us who consistently do the right thing. This is absolutely infuriating as a provider and I'm sure only more infuriating if you are the client this happened to.

I have never sent a deposit to a provider in advance to save my place and never will. I know many ladies require one.
I am not sending money to a total stranger, that if they choose to rip me off I would basically have no recourse.
After reading this thread it shows that I am correct in never agreeing to send a deposit.
It also shows that providers ripping guys off for deposits is more prevalent than anyone would have thought.
One of the big reasons these aren't reported is TER's requirement that a reviewer has to have seen the provider. If she has your money but no-show's, you can't write the review. You can out her here but when someone searches her reviews, that won't show up.
You could easily argue that's what reviews are for

Never paid a deposit, never will. But I'm almost always a one hour guy. I can understand a woman asking deposit for a longer appointment like 4, 6, 24 hour, or overnight. I'm sure the thought arises that a guy who can afford this kind of hobbying can afford being ripped off. Not okay, but one should not be surprised..
Consider myself lucky to have enough funds to hobby as much as I do. Guess I'm also lucky I don't have enough left over for anyone to consider stealing from me.
Savannah is off my list. Was waiting for her to visit northern suburbs for over a year.

I believe some of the aggrieved parties are still trying to get more information before making a decision on the next steps. One woman has gone underground but if she does resurface she will be outed. It’s not as easy as it sounds , I imagine the ladies maintain all the RLI of the clients. Let’s not believe this “ i destroy all information after our first meeting” mantra. In all cases it’s not true. They can easily strike back via blacklisting on VH etc, contact clients family and have someone on their team reach out and threaten.
More a prepayment made at the discretion of the hobbyist. Same end result, but different from requiring a deposit and then just not showing up.
Still likely a no go for me now, too bad, as she had been on the radar. If anyone can pm name of other incident, much appreciate.

At this point, it's not at all sufficient to just say there was a misunderstanding. In you review, you were pretty clear about what happened. If those details have changed, explain what actually did go on.

I must be the luckiest guy in the world. 15 years and I was only asked for a deposit once from a touring lady that wasn't scheduled to come to Boston. She asked me for a deposit and she would come and base her trip around our date.
3 months later with communication here and there to keep me up to date, she rode me to the sunset in the most beautiful way imaginable. I can't wait to see her again.

The allegations against me are not true, just a miscommunication, as animator6 stated above. What happened between me and that gentleman is nobody's business, the same as it wasn't anyone's business in the first place. If you still don't want to see me after reading this thread about me, it's your loss, as my reviews have proved that I am a great provider. But an explanation is needed. It’s a small community and if it was an innocent mix up, it’s hard to see how that happened. Would think savannah is worse off from this and animator needs to make it up to her and or the community. Or else we all let our imaginations run wild, which is the base facts are right but this public outing made a difference.
