Just a heads-up to stay away from, and not patronize, an underhanded hotel off exit 27 on rte 128 outside of Boston. Hotel management decided to "break a few eggs" and called local LE to investigate an out-of-state guest who had alleged "frequent" traffic to the room. The guest was questioned by LE. The guest protested and objected to the uncorroborated allegations. No charges were made. Nevertheless the guest left voluntarily completely embarrassed and shaken. My understanding is that TER rules prevent me from naming the obnoxious hotel who broke the eggs. However I like my omelettes with onions, peppers, and ham.

I like that particular kind of omelette. In fact, it's one of the Best omelette's of that type. Thanks for the warning. . (Unrelated, but I like to garnish the Best kind of that omelette with some ketchup and tabasco sauce.)
OK, OK. There's some disagreement about what TER will allow and not allow. But you can't make an omelette without crackin' some eggs and it seems that the secret of the hotel ID is now cracked open. . Is there anyone here, other than me and mrfisher, who remembers Ken's At Copley? They used to be open until 3 AM or 4 AM and I would often stop in for their best Western Omelette special. They made a great omelette. Sometimes I'd have the steak tips, instead. (Ken's at Copley was a spinoff of Ken's Restaurant which still exists in Framingham.)
Yep, I found an interesting story about a person who said this best establishment in the western hemisphere had le called on them after they thought she was a "lady of the night". trip adviser said so..a little late on posting this but I came on here after finding the info, thanks ..so no go there
to protect a provider who may be staying at that one from being discovered by the hotel management, but in this case she is already gone, so I would say it is not only fine to name the hotel but a service to other gals who may be contemplating staying there so that they will avoid it.
There is only a general rule among members not to name a specific hotel when anyone asks for recommendations of a good place to stay. As fish said, that's to avoid alerting LE to target that hotel when she's there. It's generally wise to name a hotel only in PMs. But in this case, why not name it? Otherwise, the warning is pretty useless if, as someone said above, there are six hotels at that exit.
Such as when someone from hobbyland gets arrested. No issue with hotel names.
Nothing wrong with discussing past issues at specific hotels. Never say anything about a hotel you plan to visit, or even the name of the town you may be visiting
Fish and Jake may be correct. However last year an attempt to post the name of another similar unfriendly hotel was not allowed by ADMIN. I thought my Great omelette clue would be sufficiently efficacious. If not, you may send me a PM.
Hopefully everyone understood the clues. Also there was a post a while back about another hotel off that same exit, with the same problem of local management being nosy. So it's best not to "Extend" your stay in that area...
