According to legend, Joe Namath spent the night before Super Bowl III (1969) with a female companion. To save you having to look it up, Namath and NY Jets beat the Baltimore Colts 16-7.  

And that, I suspect, has justified a lot more pre-game celebrating ever since

Hopefully peyton manning will be sucking during the game.  I for one can't imagine working during a Pats game.  Unless it is sitting and eatching it.
