Hi Everyone,

Might I ask how you ladies usually go about verifying TER members when they contact you for a date or info and say that they are a particular member of TER?

Do you use your VIP membership here and write to them to make sure it was actually that person who contacted you?

Note: I am just refering to verifying their TER handle, not their other info.

Any comments would be appreciated. Thank you all.

and if the person is not a VIP, and cannot read PM's, then post an obscure message to the board and make sure he answers.
I always have correspondence with my references so that everyone knows it's really me.
There have been instances of someone claiming to be someone they aren't.

As jaejae pointed out, currently when you PM someone, there is no way to know if they ever read the message. (They can't without a VIP membership.)

Boston's own lovely Mel made a suggestion to rectify this which Staff accepted.

I give the kisses and hugs to Melinda and let her pass them on to you. Yeah, that sounds better.
