Have any providers been threatened in Boston by other providers???sad_smile

I have now heard of 3 cases where touring providers have been threatened and told NOT to visit certain Boston burbs or they will be busted & ratted out. Some of these threats have been via email, and some in voicemail.  I've also heard ladies being threatened NOT  to use certain hotels.

These are cases of nasty desperate Hos trying to viciously protect their turf.  Please ask this question on the P.O. board too.

I'm using an alias for a reason. I'm a very well known poster on this board, and the mods will vouch for that.

Are you the same "Dudley Do-Right" who posted that fabulous story about the fact that you were with a girl in one room in an apartment, and in the next room someone was giving another girl a hard time, and you rushed to her rescue, fending off the cad, telling her to give him his money back, and then consoling her while she cried for an hour?  It sounded very impressive, except none of it added up, and somehow it disappeared from the board.

And now this posting.

These anonymous stories about victimized women and anonymous, heroic posters coming to their rescue are a little troubling.

Anyone else?

I have chatted with him via PM before his post, and he presented me with some very good evidence of this.

Furthermore, it is not the same person as the other post you reference.

Your post reminds me of people who say things like:

"BBFS does not happen because I have never been offered it."

or

"Nobody should have any trouble finding a woman to have sex with if you are not picky about looks since I always have women try and pick me up."

Just because things have not happened that you know about, does not mean that they have not happened.   There are many more things that happen that are not in the public eye.

The OP of that post requested that it be removed.   He did not want their names or locations to be viewable in a public forum.

There ARE specific suburbs and hotels to stay away from due to LE activity.

Most touring providers tend to stay downtown anyways.

I would think nasty desperate Hos have no turf to protect.

I've actually spoken to 2 ladies that have told me the same thing. I don't think it's LE, not with the way the messages have been written, several contacts made by the same person, and where one of this IP's traced back is highly suspect.
I would think that people would find better things to do than behave poorly. If biz is that bad for whomever is doing then they should rethink their plan or find a new job.
Since I've unretired, I've witnessed the splitting and cliquish behaviors of providers. Which has led to ladies not sharing information, providing references, speaking badly about clients to other ladies so they won't take an appointment. I was just having this conversation with another well-know lady who has been around for a very long time. When do people start sharing and helping each other instead of scaring ladies or threatening them? Years ago we would have stood together to figure this out. Now who knows, it's like tossing a hundred coins in the air.
Sad but true.

One lady in particular who still remains a mystery to me has left a voicemail on my phone indicating that I should stay at a specific property.

I know that she has called other providers as well because they've noted her mention of this property too, but her messages to them were more dire (i.e. "stay out of XXX area, I'm warning you" or "I've got my eye on you").

Honestly I can't decide if it is a provider who legitimately thinks that this behavior will curtail some of her "competition" (really now, most of us are not comparable in more than the most basic ways so there is no reason to live as though the next provider is your enemy) or just a random psycho playing on the telephone.

At any rate, I'm glad that the original poster brought it up and to light - visiting providers and locals alike shouldn't be afraid of the female voice that winds up in their voicemail or the silly threats that land in their email inbox.

...And to the woman who is doing this: you're not as clever as you think.  I'm not that invested in it but your 128/95 hotel was duly noted via your IP address and providers will continue comparing notes to identify you if the behavior continues.

I agree about the "turf fights". I have recently had a service I have used regularly for many years tell me they would no longer act as a reference for me. They were very apologetic and did not want to upset me, in fact they were quite honest, they said they felt it was cutting down on their business. And they also said it was not just me, but any clients they had who were looking for a reference.

Tough times make people make tough decisions!

This is pretty horrible.  It sounds like someone is afraid that visiting women somehow command peoples'  attention and interest more than local girls, which is not the case.

In any case, hopefully this suggestion will end it: the next time someone gets a voice mail, play the message into a mike, and create an audio file.  Then post it (there are lots of free sites that will host audio files), and provide a link to it here.  I guarantee once the voice is heard, someone will be able to identify it. As Ally points out, IP addresses are also an easy way to find the person. It hopefully won't get to that, but it's troubling and should stop; no one wants to deal with the specter that some jealous stalker is out there, and may call the authorities to harass a visitor to Boston.

Despite the nature of this discussion, I still think that discretion should be observed so I will not post in publicly.

...If another provider is truly concerned with it I can provide the voicemail I received via email.
Its a short clip that local ladies may recognize and is available to them.

I will try to convert them to a downloadable form that I can email as well.
