I know "pick-up bar" is a crude expression, but that's all we had back in the 1970s. In the classy places, the ladies were well dressed, and so were the gentlemen – some of the guys even wore neckties!

Save the cost of a hotel room.  BBBJ in the car, I'd be a frequent flyer for that.  

Some ladies call this 'free styling'. They hang out in a bar of a high end hotel and find a client. It still happens, though not as often as finding one online.

There's already an app that they call Uber for escorts. Not available in the US last I heard.

Of sites like TER and the Internet in general allowed many of us to participate. That never would have.  I would never have driven in my car and picked up some girl on tbe street. A lot of tbe girls i have met would not have been there either. Before the big bust locally last year.. things seemed awfully loose. It eas all too good to be true. Good for the girls.

It's nice to go to Shanghai, or Hong Kong or Thailand and be able to meet and talk with a girl before hand.  It's a very nice screening process for both people and usually leads to a better experience since you're spent a little time getting to know your partner.

Living in the suburbs.. it's a lot of work to drive to a bar... whdn... at night? No...I see girls during the day.. like most guys... I go to work... I leave my office for awhile... no one cares...it's obvious if I leave my house at night.
