That is genuinely concerning! I would avoid future contact with that Hobbiest. He clearly has the wrong idea about this hobby. It could be a chemical imbalance, extreme loneliness, or just out of touch! Keep your distance. Yikes, I couldn't even imagine how that conversation went. No amount of money is worth a creepy stalker or possible dangerous situation. Stalkers are totally the worst kind of people (selfish, invasive, and unreasonable)

This isn't E-harmony and no, no, and absolutely hell no. This is p4p please listen to the advice you've been given and don't hobby until you can understand the boundaries of this much more clearly. You will put yourself and a lady in a very bad and precarious situation because of your own folly otherwise. It can be confusing for a guy who isn't clear on boundaries when he is shown lots of attention and affection, however this is still business no matter how much we enjoy it. Please get a grip on boundaries before you do something foolish.

I used to do it when I was younger (read: dumber) single and bored.  
I know a number of girls who have their favorites who they periodically fuck for free when they are horny and don't have shit else to do.
I had to personally tell one nymphomaniac provider she was fucking up the game because so many of my clients reported she was sleeping with them for free.

Boundaries should be observed for a reason and we are paid companions...but really.
Sometimes girls do invite exceptionally good lovers or clients who strike them as the type who could be their friend (or friend-with-benefits) over from time to time.

I believe that when a provider inquires about spending time with you outside of the business, then it is absolutely welcome if the circumstances are correct. When or if we (collective whole for Hobbiest) contact a provider about a "free romp" or "date" then there is definitely something wrong!

Geeez, what a friendly board to have discussion with ???    I travel. I also see ladies that travel. Sometimes, that can get lonely. (sad face)    My point was, if you are in town alone, and met a hobbyist who you connected with, would    it be so wrong to see if he wanted to hang out if you both were available??    I am so glad, you find it so easy to make us, the providers and hobbyist NON HUMAN (rolling eyes)   I am sure you are great at what you do.

It isn't a matter of "customer service".
I never felt obligated to do anything that I did in observance of "good business" (to the contrary, sleeping with and hanging out with clients is very bad business).

I just wanted to have some fun and getting picked up in bars is tedious (and very hit or miss in terms of the quality of sex lol).

Again, not something that I currently or would likely ever do again.
But that isn't to say it doesn't happen every day- whether that is right or wrong or smart or very stupid.
