Many on BP advertise they are independent but you know that they
have a "pimp" well...I guess today they are called handlers. LOL

Is there a difference in providers that are independent?
or
Pimps Vs. Agencies.

Your thoughts if any?

Throughout history women have been the Madames, or purveryor of the ladies.
They were experienced in the biz and saw things from the womens' perspective.
This is, I am sure, is still in existence.  But now, with wide spread methods of advertising...not just a phone and a list of ladies and screened clients...there is room for "outsiders"...ok, and you can bash me for this...MEN!  to exploit female labor.  I am not talking about human trafficking, we aren't going there!
Agencies run by men seem to be factories where the girls...young girls who don't know how to handle their business...are in hotel rooms turning volume, 5-6 guys a day.
To me that is not an agency, that is a pimp.
And "regular" pimps are alive and well!!  Believe me, I just spent the winter in Vegas.
Two of them got into a shoot out on the strip and killed a cab driver and his passenger.

This is my 2 cents.  I am curious to see where this thread will go.  It's a good one.

I will explain this the best way I can,

1. Pimps: take ALL of the money and give nothing (not one red cent) to the girls, except a trip to the mall once a week to get their nails done and to maybe buy 1 new outfit (if they made their quota). Agencies get a cut but the bulk of the money goes to the girl.

2. Pimp: girls must make a quota and if they don't they usually get a beating. Agencies: The girl decides how many she wants to see and what days and hours she is available.

3. Pimps: bottom line is always the dollar, they don't screen, they could care less about the girls safety. Agencies: Screen and the ladies safety and well being is of the utmost importance.

4. Pimps: train their girls to scam clients, upsell, steal money if they can do it without getting caught, cash and dash etc. They also forbid GFE. (reason is that they consider the girls their property and only they can get the GFE treatment)  Agencies: most do not scam clients because that would ruin their business.

95% of pimps are males I did however know a woman who was a pimp (she took over when the guy went to jail).  90% of all agencies are run by women and almost all are ex providers, however there are some Male owners. Some are pimps in disguise and some are actually really good guys. ( example Sonny from VG is a great guy and definitely not a pimp)

Bottom line there is a huge difference.

Thank You Jill

I have heard great things about you. Thank you BTW.

Not sure all agencies are the same. I do feel some abuse ladies....
IE give them 15 minutes between dates and book them too much for a day.

I also find agencies are not real great in responding to questions. IE
I just sent Flirt an e-mail the other day to see if any lady was available in my area?

"Crickets"

Give Flirt the benefit of the doubt, services get a bunch of emails daily so maybe they haven't got to it yet. I know that my policy is to never give anyone information, especially in regards to locations via email, especially if they are not already a verified regular client. Safety first always.

One time a couple of years ago, I was a little early for an outcall to an upscale hotel in Cambridge, so I was out front having a smoke before I went in. A young girl (19 or so) came outside for a smoke as well. We started chatting, and it was pretty evident that she was working. Then she started saying that her "daddy" would really like me, and that I should come with her to meet him. She said he was great, and let her keep $25 from each call she did... I explained to her that I actually ran an agency, and that my girls keep 75% of what they make. She was shocked. I was going to give her my number so I could try to get her out of that situation, but just then her "daddy" came out and started yelling at her and she ran back inside.

I've tried to help out a few girls who are in situations like that before, but sometimes it bites me in the ass. It can be hard to break them of their old bad habits, which often result in bad reviews which then impacts me as well. Sometimes they end up running back to their pimp after making some money and stealing a few clients. Sometimes they just end up finding a new pimp, some girls just seem to attract them. Sometimes they're just too far gone, and I have to let them go. I feel bad about it, but there's only so much I can do.

I can't say I really understand why some girls feel they need a pimp, but I suspect it's somewhat related to the Stockholm Syndrome or the whole cult psychology thing.

it really depends on the person and the type service they want to run. If most services are run by women then most of the problems the men have with services are women run.  A close friend is a male who runs a service in the midwest and i always refer ladies to him because i know he will treat them very well. I just dont like generalizations
