Do independent ladies also work for agencies? I booked with what I thought to be an independent in Ct. this week then she she is with an agency in Boston?? Should I be concerned? Your thoughts if any?
There have been a few overly ambitious girls who tried to work with more than one agency at the same time, and not let the agencies know they were doing this. Their plan may have been to "maximize" their number of appointments, but they ended up with conflicting schedules, and got fired/sent packing when the truth came out.
Most agencies prefer a girl work "for them only" which makes sense in a way. At least one agency I know of gets pissed off if the girls give out their personal phone number [but I won't go there today]. Flirt is unique from what I have seen in that they work cooperatively with indi girls. They do not "own" the girls, and do not try to. I met Sydney Rose and Ana Vixen as indi's, which is how I got started with Flirt. The rest is [review] history.

I'd say that's every agency. If every girl gave out her personal number to every client, any agency would be out of business very quickly. I know that with the percentage that I take, a girl has to have 4 appointments before just the cost of the photo shoot is covered. Then there's also advertising costs, phone bills, website, etc... Without repeat business, there's no profit. Girls giving out their personal numbers absolutely kills repeat business.
There are a number of reasons agencies stay in business...and do good business. Some girls don't want the aggravations/work of screening and scheduling. Agencies are there for screening, scheduling, direct dealings with the clients...and a number of other things that pop up I am sure.
An agency's success depends on how well they treat their girls, and their clients...but I digress.
...I saw a lady in Los Angeles as an indy, who also worked for an agency to maximize appointments. We got along great (I thought)!
In the midst of our third or fourth session, her phone rang. It was the agency wanting her to take an immediate appointment, and they threatened to fire her if she didn't take the appointment right then and there. She did it. Needless to say, that was the last time we saw each other.
So the moral of the story is: if a lady is working both the indy and agency angles, make sure you know where her priorities lie before you get hot-n-heavy into an appointment with her...
