Have always been a fan of Atlantic Fish Company. I know folks may recommend Legal Seafood also. Another great restaurant that may not look that great but has great seafood is "The Daily Catch" on Hanover Street.
Recommend Dolphin seafood restaurant on Mass ave about 2 blocks east of Harvard Square. The mussels in wine and garlic are excellent as is everything else on their menu. Prices are very reasonable. Bon Appetit, lovely Nacole
Check out Island Creek Oyster in Kenmore Square near Fenway Park (went there last week and it was great with nice drinks too), Neptune Oyster in the North End (no reservations), or B&G Oyster in the South End
agree with your suggestions. Island Creek is my fav but don't forget to try Belle Isle Seafood on the winthrop border. Great Shack in a new location with the best lobster roll in town for $18.95
If you have wheels, I suggest the Clam Box or Woodmans on the Northshore as well.

Legal harborside second floor is a beatiful unique restaurant. It has acompletely different menu than Legal (focused and creative) it has a beautiful view. Still a lot of people dont know it is there. One of the best dining experiences in the city.

Ok I have been to Legal Seafood in other cities. Not really looking for a chain per say, but more of a local city gem Thank you though I will look up the Daily Catch, sound like what I am looking for
try Neptune Oyster. It's not a chain, it's local, it's small, and it's in the North End, Boston's little Italy. The North End is a very old, historic part of town and is worth visiting.
It's owned by Barbara Lynch, who's a multiply-awarded chef. The South End is worth seeing, too. It has the largest collection of brownstones in the US.
I should mention that both North and South End are not in back bay, but are very, very close, walkable even except when it's freezing (like now).

So I have never been to Boston BUT I hear that you guys are well known for seafood. What would you guys say are the best Seafood Spots in the Back Bay area. I am not adverse to spending $$$ for a good meal. Thanks in advance!!
Also on Hanover st (the main drag in the North End) is taranta--it's a restaurant that fuses Italian and Peruvian cuisine. Sound bizzare? It's actually quite good and different in the best possible way. Everyone I've sent there has loved it.
Any Italian spot in particular or just any of them?? Thanks everyone I may just eat my way through the city!! Looks like I am gonna need to do some extra sexercise LoL!!
