Troquet for an amazing view of the commons, fun and expansive wine list.  Personal favortie
Bistro du Midi for french

sam's in luis boston.  two for the price of one - great shopping and fun new american menu sitting on the water
Neptune oyster in the north end - crowded but worth it.  and north end on a friday night is very lively.
Island Creek oyster/eastern standard.  Very big, very loud and some of the best cocktails in the country.
Prezza - north end again; modernish italian.  Very good but skip dessert.
hope this helps.

Hey!

This is my first trip to Boston, so far its pretty cool!!Really nice people...

I want to go for a nice dinner tomorrow with my girlfriend but I wasnt sure where to go.

I'm in the downtown area.I prefer seafood or Italian.

If anyone knows any good places with amazing food, could you please let me know?

-Thanks

I loved it. Not Seafood or Italian, but great!

Service was great. Food was amazing. Chef is a former contestant from Top Chef.

Definitely worth a try. www.radiusrestaurant.com

Thats so funny, i walked passed there to go to CVS like 2 hours ago lol

I am pretty sure I stopped at that same CVS before going back to my hotel. LOL

You MUST go to Top of the Hub! I go once a week with a hobbyist and we're both in love with the establishment! LOL. I'll probably see you there!

A touch off-topic, but in London, the counterpart of that restaurant is called the oxo tower. Which is the source of much puerile humour.

So, if you're ever in London, have a client take you up the oxo tower, if you're into that sort of thing.

LOVE "puerile humour"! and love that you said that in "British"! Yum! I'm thinking of being in London in December! I will have to check out this "tower" amongst the others that I try out. LOL

Here is a good reservation system I use alot when looking for restaurants.  You can search by type of cusine and it includes links to menus and customer reviews.  It covers most major cities so it is very handy when traveling and sign up is free.

Sportello is solid and you can walk there from downtown.
B&G Oyster is good as well although Neptune is probably better (South End)
Radius is very good and is right downtown if you are staying there

Recently ate at Stephany's for a work dinner. I enjoyed it but there are better places.

Assuming you are in Back Bay, for seafood I'd recommend Atlantic Seafood and for Italian I'd recommend Sorelina.
