Buddy of mine divorced looking for a little fun, tried to help him out by giving him a place to look.  
He has not done this so explained some to him.  He has been talking to a local lady in Boston, made plans with her, excited to see her.  He has made plans twice with her and she has canceled last minute both times with same excuse.

I do not know her, she seems to be on the up and up and nice, good reviews.  I am telling him that the excuse she is giving is more than likely not true as it has happened twice now.  He has made time to see her in his busy schedule both times as he does not live near Boston and has to drive into Boston  The second time he was driving to her and she cancelled 40 minutes before their appointment time.  

He told me she has apologized, promised to make it up to him next time, which she has said both times.  Yet she never tried to make new plans with him, just told him I can see you next week.   Not really sure wasting someone's time twice can be made up somehow.  Either way he still wants to see her.

I am trying to convince  him to not bother she is rude for cancelling twice on you, not caring about wasting your time.  Also told him she probably had a regular client contact her for last minute appointment and she cancels you.  

I have not really had experience being cancelled like that, let alone twice.  Anyone can offer some advice here about to bother or not and should these ladies be trusted with their excuses?  I am still trying to convince him to not bother anymore with her and find someone else...

There are plenty of fish in the sea. He should move on. There are plenty of professional providers that keep their appointments and have great service.

I've noticed an big uptick in flaky provider behavior in the last few years. Both in not answering inquiries and in cancelling. I don't know what's going on but its very frustrating.

Especially if you plan a long drive.  Have something else to do in that location.  Most of the girls I see are near 100% reliable.  

The one's that are not reliable...I have to admit I don't even remember their names.

This was not me, was a non hobby friend who wanted to try and see someone good.  She is established and has good reviews so was surprised when he told me she cancelled on him twice.  Once 2-3 hours before their time and another 40 minutes while he was driving already to see her as he does not live near Boston.  

From what he told me she apologized and seemed to want to make it up to him by saying she would extend their time.
Nothing concrete though.  She used the same excuse both times which leads me to believe she cancelled him as a regular contacted her and she would rather see them.  I told him this and he does not really buy it, said she seemed genuine  LOL

 
She has not contacted him to make things up to him and set an appointment, seems she wants him to contact her to do that.  Think she is not a nice person to be honest with how she treated him.  Told him to not bother with her anymore as I think she is just taking advantage of him being new and nice guy.   She promised a lot but delivered nothing in their chats

He is debating whether he will listen to me and not bother with her or his curiosity will get him and she iwll probably cancel on him again.  If he does go see her I will update definitely

I agree many of these women are getting full of themselves and think they can do whatever they want.

Unfortunately too many guys let them get away with so much and still do not make them pay a penalty for poor behavior.

Can you tell us who it is? I have a pretty good idea but don't want to guess although G Love does give a hint.

In the Boston area, there are at least 500 ladies who actively post their services, don't tell me that there is only one for you. Make a list of 5 or 10 ladies who meet your profile, you'll have a great time without the stress caused by the false belief that one and only one can meet your needs.
