The stock market is booming, the economy is in the best shape since the 90's, none of the disasters predicted in November of 2016 have come to pass, even oil prices have crept up to a point where I can start making money again.

 
I don't know about the rest of you but I am looking forward to 2018 being a GREAT year, but for very different reasons I agree with your conclusion about having a therapeutic encounter with a pretty lady. I hardly need to be pensive to want to be spending time with a pretty lady.

Since 1977 the government has been shut down 17 previous time, each time with one side or the other running around like Chickens Little claiming that the sky was falling, and each time we got through it with no real harm done. This time will be just like everyother.

 
Please tell me exactly how the government shut down is going to impact YOUR life in some adverse fashion.

BTW, since your first post I've already gotten laid. It has put me in a great mood, but it doesn't change anything. You are the aggressive one, not me. I fully expect to get laid again today, which will put me in an even BETTER mood, but it still won't change the fact that you are the aggressor, not me.
