I am from Southern California and i was kind of nervous coming to Boston in December. After seeing how much snow you all got last winter. I am loving it here. I think Boston is a very pretty city and I love walking around . No one walks in California .

Though i could use a few good food suggestions. Any favorite Korean or Sushi places that you can suggest.

Thank you.

Even Bad girls deserve gifts. And we gotta eat!!!

Hi Audrey and welcome to Boston! I'm also from SoCal, but moved to Boston six years ago. It's a wonderful city with a lot of history, charm, and diverse cuisine. HOWEVER, Korean cuisine is scarce and AYCE Korean BBQ is nonexistent in Boston. I have looked for six years and I even tried to convince a few of my Korean friends to invest with me in a place here in Boston but no one wants to take the risk. If I had to suggest a pay-by-plate Korean BBQ place it would be Koreana in Cambridge. It's not at the level of legendary SoCal KBBQ places like Gen or Genwa, but the meat quality is great and the service is pretty good.

If you are interested in some Vietnamese pho I would recommend Pho Pasteur in Chinatown (near Copley).

I'm glad you are enjoying the weather. It's definitely better than last year, but who knows how bad it will get this year. Enjoy it while it lasts. I'm back in SoCal for two weeks and enjoying all the great Asian food (e.g. Din Tai Fung and Shin-Sen-Gumi!) I have been missing for so long.

Only been here 2 years from SoCal, and you bring back all my Bruin memories of stacking Korean BBQ bowls as high as possible just outside UCLA. Yum...

Thank you for your great suggestions for places to eat. I did discover a great place on Columbus avenue called shun's kitchen. Great drinks and the sushi was stellar.
