Now, I understand when plans get upside down, but when there is no communication at all, you are just left waiting, after scheduling your time, even down to hotel location and room, and get nothing... It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, compared to what I was expecting, lol. Anyway, I rarely do this, but anyone else out there interested in stepping in to meet with a whitelisted hobbyist, pm me. Alone and bummed, GD

It's awful when it happens on either side of the hobby coin. We all get excited about meeting someone and the anticipation and build up to a meeting is so much of the big date so to speak. I know it is a let down for you. I am sure there are many great ladies out there who will be more than happy to see you and soon you won't even be thinking about it. It is unfortunate that she didn't get in touch with you and cancel properly and at least offer some sort of explanation.
I know its not a consolation, but I being the eternal optimist look at the bight side.
Twice in last 5 weeks I got stood up by a "reviewed" provider of this board. Luckily found out the more recent reviews to be telling and her not being all she was per the older reviews. Saved my $$ and spent it on more deserving, hardworking and genuine ladies in the Greater Boston area. Much happier too.
Shit happens and sometimes things are out of a providers control as well as a hobbyist. Sometimes life gets in the way. But as I read this thread what I find alarming as a person, not as a provider is when a gentleman stands someone up they can end up on a blacklist and when a provider does it its ok. WTF is up with that? I might take some abuse for this but I really think providers should ask themselves have I ever stood anyone up, or canceled last minute. I am sure there is not one provider out there that has not done this at least once. It's called life it sometimes throws you curves. Why is it right that one side gets punished for this behavior?
Would you guys believe I got stood up a second time the following night, with actually recieving a confirmation one hour before the planned time? Starting to feel like I am jinxed, but never happened in all the years with all my reviews. Thanks for all the insight/comments from everyone, especially the providers out there. When I have had to cancel, I have always done this with 24 hours notice and NEVER just went silent. Try to treat people the way I would like to be treated. But I will not give up on the great ladies of Boston.
