I was considering posting this on the GD board, but I wanted to get a feel from locals and visitors of Boston first...

I recently had a late Saturday night appointment (midnight to 1am) at a very sleepy, but luxurious suburban hotel.  It seemed almost deserted, despite being a mid to high budget brand!

In case you were wondering, the appointment itself was wonderful!

Anyway, I really like that timeslot because that's when I have the most energy and work is least on my mind (and the coworkers are asleep - lol).

How do providers generally feel about that timeslot (late night saturday)?

I ask because when I see most schedules posted, it does not include that timeslot.

As long as it is pre-arranged I am fine with it.

Try calling for a last minute appointment at Midnight and chances are they will get voicemail.

I agree with Brooke.  I don't have a problem with meeting at that time, but I would not book at that time.

Same here. Book earlier in the day and you will be grand

Most providers, if they dont have any late night appointments, go ahead and take a nice long bubble bath, have a nice home-cooked meal (I hope), watch a little tv and go to bed with their kitty kat (oh, well maybe that would be what I'd do...  But if you call earlier in the day or even days before, then many will adjust the day to cater for the late night appointment. I think you will be just fine if you want this time slot, just go ahead and ask us. I cater for it if you ask me earlier in the day.

for several reasons.
Most calls I get at that time seem a little...uhh, under the influence.
I might be under the influence by then and in no condition to trot myself off in the dark. Screening is sometimes tough at midnight.
My phone will be turned off.
I'd have to take some time to spruce myself up for ya'.

On the other hand if we discuss it ahead of time...a midnight rendevous might be very romantic! (or hott
