I'm showing my age here, but back when I was more active in this, and the only source to meet, was "The Boston Phoenix" adult section,  you used to be able to develop some friendships between Clients and Providers.
I had some great friends, real friends .. not someone, who would want you to pay, just to spend time together, or even just to talk ....  The relationships were real and two way ... both sides truly enjoyed being friends. some of those relationships sometimes were just talking from time to time .. others were more, actually going out and doing things together... one friend, I had, I actually met and got to know her family !!!   The business end was always kept separate and never crossed, but the connections were real .. And .. when you did do business, the time was so much better !  

It seems now if you even breach the thought to a Provider, they want nothing to do with you anymore ?
getting together now .. it's just so impersonal, It's like your an object on an assembly line ..  In and out, and .. don't talk to me again, unless it's business only!  When you initially meet, it's all, hi and welcome, etc.. then when you leave, it's.. hope to see you again and oh! don't let the door hit you in the rear on the way out !!  I know it's not literally like that, but that how you feel sometimes ...  

It's funny, it seems if a Client and Provider, hypothetically, met under a different context, and hit it off, you could be great friends.. but because you meet this way .. even if you hit it off .. after your business is done .. your treated like you have the plague!

I really miss the old days .. I met so many really great people !!!  Today, I'm still meeting great people, but, they just don't want to get to know you ???    

How did all this become so impersonal ???  And What's wrong with sometimes being friends ???

but I think that if anything, providers are now friendlier and I develop friendships more often today than back then, though I did meet some nice gals back then, some of whom I still know to this day despite them not being providers anymore.

Because of the internet, I meet more traveling providers too.  That never seemed to be the case when just using personal ads.

Two of my best friends are women that I pay, or have paid, for sex.  What you can't do is force it to happen.  It's a process of (A) being lucky enough to hire an escort that you happen to connect with on another level. (b) being patient.

The internet, while making hobbying easier, has also brought-about the phenomenon of the "time-waster" in a way that never existed before texting and email.  Too many guys blowing provider's cell phones and e-mail boxes has made the ladies much more wary about getting involved in off the clock endeavors.

I don't think it has all changed.  There are still some very special ladies out there that value the personal connection as much as the business end.  I think the problem is largely with the guys that have a much harder time seperating biz from personal...not with the ladies.

I totally agree all my clients are my friends & most know my real name.  Chemistry is everything!

business LOL
He is fun and it is normally way more than just the obvious he seeks, like intellectual stimulation, sharing of life stories, strawberries and champagne, candles, dances and massages

* Regular friends are a blessing  & make you feel special and wanted and beautiful.  Every time you two are together you seem to grow as lovers

* People who want to be regular but cannot afford it can
get deals if they truly want to be regulars and just ask

* It is deep and caring as well as intensely passionate with a regular!

* A regular is someone I make memories of passion, humor and triumphs that I will take with me in memory long after I have turned the page and
left the business.

* With a regular one of you can have an
"off" day without fear of a bad review

We can be friends and be intimate on a

...and this shows you are a very special and mature person. I wonder how many providers, especially young ones feel the same way. Or do they prefer to build wealth quickly instead of memories they can cherish...

So True! Very well put. I don't think I would enjoy this as much if it were not for my regulars (friends).

...agree it is only about money, barring a handful of mature exceptions. Young providers have told me that they want to make $$$$ as fast as possible and quit. Of course, you never have enough and so many continue for long years. So, my advise to fellow hobbyists, do not fall for friendships here, you will be disappointed. You don't pay somebody to be a true friend....
