I was last there decades ago. I found a hair on my pizza but that's hardly a reason to shut the place down and put more than 200 people out of work, just before Xmas.  

In any case, I read an article that said that the ACLU is taking up the cause of Foxy Lady, seeing this as a First Amendment case.

As far as I can recall, this is the first time I've heard of that group taking up a case for sexual workers, though it isn't exactly a pro-pay for pay situation.

It's a welcomed development, in any case.

Alas, I did not. It was of questionable origin. Not glittery enough to be from a well-coiffed dancer. Not long enough to be definitively from a serving wench. Not curly enough to have been from a table dancer. It could have been from the cook, the dishwasher, or, now that I think about it, the men's room attendant. Bleah.From what I read, I see it as punishing the many for the actions of a few. Involving management for improper supervision or enforcement of the rules can be legitimate but punishable by a fine or "time off" from work rather than a complete shutdown with the loss of 200+ jobs.

I wonder what the testimony for the defense will be like. "I promise things ALL the time and I NEVER deliver! Just ask my string of character witnesses."

Rhode Island was something else in the 90s and early 2000s. I went last year hoping it might be the same but it was a horrible experience.

A blast from the past.  I thought it was the best in RI, but couldn't hold a dick or candle to the ones in Texas.

Had a great time watching the girls dance.   Best show in New England, I thought.  Saved my lapdance money for Florida.

I just read that the RI Supreme Court has at least temporarily lifted the club’s license revocation.  

I’m not sure if this is attributable to the Judges’ sense of civil liberties or if they’re just plain old horn dogs, but I’m glad of it.

Atlanta was good too!
