The reason I say don't take recommendations is your idea of ideal is different than someone elses. I know many ladies and would be glad to help, but I won't make a recommendation because there is no way I (or anyone) can know the provider who will be best for your first time. I live in the Boston area and I am looking for recommendations from the veterans of the group as to a good provider for a first encounter.
Quality, of course, is important, but I also want someone who is laid-back, relaxing and understanding. I would be nervous enough without any added pressure.
