Final tours?

Why are there so many "final east coast tours" going on now? Seems like a lot of ladies are leaving Boston for good.

Don't worry, if you miss the final east coast tour of a favorite, just wait a while and catch next one. I remember one provider having four retirement tours.

Her major marketing tool.
Made the mistake of emailing her from my yahoo acct when she was new and now I get her BS/rhetoric seemingly unabated during her NE touring.
Ignored me when I replied to them I didn't appreciate their BS marketing.
Sent me back a list of what they require for screening to see her!

This is the same lady whose handler(s) cc'd (not bcc as they should have) every address in their contact list not too long ago!

Even with her great reviews, due to the poor handling of the rest of her affairs, I'll pass.

You mentioned something that might be my hobby pet peeve. Providers that keep contact lists and especially those that email whenever they're in town or whatever. That's the opposite of discretion. Knock it off.

The cost of doing biz is very high in Boston and the profit is not enough to sustain her trips so this really really is their last tour.

I would air on the side of safety and see the person if you really would like to; most girls will not be around forever so take the chance!

In my time as a provider I've never seen an announced retirement in which the provider remained retired (or even stayed away for a calendar year before they returned).

However, I have seen several notable & celebrated providers retire- without warning or announcement, taking care only to pull the ladder up behind them publicly (removing websites, advertisements, review profiles etc.) and presumably closing out their affairs with their clients privately.

I find this to be a classy way of exiting the business.  I think that overblown announcements (i.e. "see me now, you'll never have another chance!") are foolish and short-sighted.
Cash in today...but what happens when you're bored with the cubicle or The American Dream/playing house isn't all that its cracked up to be and a girl wants back in lol?

In the case of "final tours" or "retirement tours" I don't think that clients should assign any more weight to them than any other device in advertisement designed to provoke a sense of urgency to book an appointment.

Nobody will be around forever but there will always be new talent on the scene and up and coming superstars are always around the corner.

Personally I'm less inclined to see someone on a "final tour".  It's not easy to find someone I really like and I'd rather see someone who will be around for a while in case .... Besides if the lady is retiring I figure she's got less motivation ....

Nor should we.

If a lady is retiring and wants to shine the light on herself, this is the proper forum for it.
And if it truely is retirement (even only for a year), if the lady has a loyal client base (including me), I would be very appreciative of her offering one last 'goodbye'.

That being said, using 'Final East Coast Tour' as your constant marketing mantra (4th 'final' tour I remember) is beyond overblown and classless.
It's insulting to my (limited) intelligence!
I know a hobbyist who raved in his review of her (something he rarely does) who will no longer see her because of the BS/drama surrounding her.

Could very well be a language barrier thing, but I doubt that very much as she's no rookie.
Just poor judgement/business pratices! (IMO)

I end up on those lists too, usually because I've provided a reference or otherwise engaged in conversation with the lady.  Ticks me off.  There are 2 or 3 friends in NY that I give a heads up to, but they stay in contact with me asking when I'll be in town next.  Lists are not cool.

The final tour thing falls in like with the other overused terms such as GFE, low volume and others that I will not mention in order to not hurt anyone's feelings.  If you're 'out here' with weekly ads including myself, you are not that UTR is all I will say.

Let's face it, it's all about the Benjamins not matter how you wrap the package.  It's a virtual red light district out here.

For this reason I don't see the need to recreate websites with professional photos on a regular basis.  My focus is on service with a few select individuals, not about roping in any guy with Benjamins in hand.

I will never figure out how men think it's cool to slip their weenie in places where others have been that day.

So I guess its different strokes for different folks but after a while all these marketing posts start to sound the same.  Sometimes I read the board just to enjoy the creativity of the ads.  We're all so wonderful at this point that you guys are so lucky and blessed with our presence. LOL

Have a great day,
KJB

I was going to say just about the same thing. I agree with you very much on the first point and somewhat on the second point. I think there are some ladies active on the boards who you can tell wouldn't do that; I'd be more worried about the less well known retirement tourers.
