Gosh... there's a visiting provider that I've met before and I'm trying to reach out to her multiple ways, but at this point, I think I'm being ignored. I'm so sad because I skipped a local provider for her and my hobby opportunities for this year are running out quick.

If you are trying to hard to contact her, she may thing it's kinda creepy. Since you say, you don't hobby much she may have forgotten you. She may have passed you over.
Or she could be very busy and just hasn't have the time to answer you, remember if she a traveling lady, she has to go thru all her email, check references, that takes some serious time. She also has to do appointment in between all this.
