I have loved the town's ease of access for my clientele & the comfortable properties/amenities that it affords.  However, I think that it's apparent that its police force may be taking some of its cues from aggressive Woburn.

I think it would have been interesting if the advertisement used to lure these "criminal johns" would have been posted as well.  Sure, if the cops post "$50 HH, $100 HR with hot fucking pussy" on CL it's going to attract the worst of the worst-and they use this to color the general population's opinion of those who use Erotic Services.
That article doesn't surprise me, but the propaganda is astounding.

It's a shame that short-sighted stupidity and greed from the likes of LaBella escorts (the bust mentioned in the article) and the internet street walkers who now populate Craig's List are causing problems for hard-working and discreet ladies just by raising the profile of the hobby.
You can't blame the cops for emulating what they see posted on CL twenty times a day especially when these adds practically dare LE to stop them. The street scene has pretty much moved to the internet at this point and there are plenty of careless guys out there trolling CL looking for bargains.  Heck, there are girls offering car dates for cryin' out loud!
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, this hobby is about discretion above all else. Don't post where you are located. Any guy worth seeing will go through your screening process to get to your location.
Stay away from lower end chain hotels as it appears LE is now staking them out and harassing guys as they leave.  
Now more than ever it's time for both providers and hobbyists to exercise caution, be as discreet as possible anywhere on the internet, and keep a low profile at locations as well.

Agreed BG. I didn't personally know of, but was aware of the LaBella situation. A lot of providers avoid Woburn for that reason (LE) but looks like it just pushed the girls down a few exits to Burlington.

I don't usually partake in the low end of the market but now more than ever, won't be tempted to.

The only thing I would add is the type of hotel. I think this is just as likely to happen at a nice hotel as it is at a cheaper hotel or an extended stay type of place. They can set up anywhere is my point. I prefer larger hotels. The larger the better IMO.

It's scary that there non-CL providers and johns at the time the cops were there.

is that in any hotel with over 100 hundred rooms has a provider at most times.  Not as part of the the hotel's services, but either meeting on an outcall or providing incall.  Hotels are more interested in letting everyone enjoy quiet enjoyment of their space than having stings associated with their premises.  If a hotel were to contact the police, it is probably because the hobby had gotten too obvious in the past.

At the time I made that post there were no comments listed. Some editor probably removed them and then put them back up.

Not for the providers who are making a good living.

Not for the clients who enjoy the wonderful sex and cameraderie.

Not for the client's family who have a contented man in the house who isn't about to screw around at the office and get a harrassment case.

Not for the police who get to have fun chasing innocent gals around instead of chasing real criminals who have guns.

Not for the papers that sell their sleazy stories.

Not for the hotels who book the rooms.

Not for the populace who don't have to see streetwalkers out in the open.

So who, who has the problem here?

And, I'd bet that if providers were somehow magically barred from hotel rooms in MA and major cities, hotel revenues would take a MAJOR hit. Provider room bookings are significant part of their biz and the economy, and in these economic times, can hotels really afford to lose revenue?
