Has anyone ever been burned by providing personal information as part of a provider's screening process?

It a joke.  Yes, I was trying to be funny.  Really.

I'm still employed and have the same marital status as when I started 5-6 years ago.

However, getting burned is part of the risk of the hobby.  Be Smaht!!!!

No, because I would not do it. Never give information about your self that leaves you exposed to a stranger. I can not believe that guys give their work numbers to providers.

I think we've all been "burned" to one degree or another, at some point in this hobby.  Are you asking because something happened or are you inquiring about precautions when being screened ?

i think i feel safer going to a service that screens their clients rather than going to a service that screens nothing. i have never had good luck with an indy that did not screen always regreted wasting my money

Guys, girls, correct me if I am wrong but you kind of have to do that with a number of agencies.  I think the reason is to verify that you are a real and normal person and not the next Craigslist Killer or something.  It's not ideal for us but do you have another solution?

There is always an amount if risk involved in this. It took me awhile to get good references, while limiting exposurer. But it was worth it it. You should give personal info out to just anyone, and try to find well reviewed newbie friendly providers. And most good agencies seem to want to verify you then forget they info. Once they know you are who you say you are, they want to protect you as a customer almost as much as they want to protect the girls.

Just be smart and let thebig head lead first.
