Which would give me a better return on my investment? I'm asking on the Boston board because I know different sites are more or less popular in different cities. I'm also open to suggestions for other sites to advertise on that are popular in Boston.

I always shop on BP

My first two months as an indy gal I was only advertising on Slixa and was surprised with the amount of clients I got! Great clients too! I'd totally recommend it. You can use the Available Now feature and also pause/unpause your ads to get your moneys worth.

I NEVER look at Eros.. I do get an automated email from Slixa.. that I read.. sometimes it's a reminder of who I want to see.. FWIW..

I exclusively use EROS and even though there are some duds there like most sites a bit of research will get you most the answers to whether a provider is legitimate or not

P411 has an available now button also.  
And you can screen thru it.

I tried backpage briefly... all I got were guys that didn't want to be screened, lied about screening info, and/or tried to negotiate rates.

I'm now offering incalls one day per week. Day and location vary, but almost always on the south shore.

Since I am touring Boston I decided to Chime in. TER, and BP have worked great for me so far. On BP to weed out the time wasters I put my specific requirements on there and if they are serious about seeing me they book me on my website to be screened.  

That's interesting. My limited experience with BP was lots of contacts, and not a single booking. I've been getting about 70% of my business from P411, 25% from TER, and 5% from Slixa (with only a free listing).

Slixa is a dead horse in Boston and personally I would not give a nickle to a Canadian company such as Slixa or P411. Thank you for the quick reply yesterday!

Unfortunately I can't even log into my account on the old Date-Check webpage, and on the new one it won't let me upload any pictures. No response at all from customer support after several emails and over a month.

I think many worthwhile clients and Boston area regulars avoid BP as too risky for various reasons. P411 isn't bad but search features are weak. I would bet TER ad board is quite popular (guys?)

 My main issue tends to be that many want the same day and time, and other days I get nothing at all.

It's not the incalls I'm really having an issue with, I only do incalls one day per week. It's the rest of the week when I'm only doing outcalls that tends to be the issue. I'm not looking for high volume, I'm quite satisfied with just one or two appointments per day, and don't really want more than that. Some days I'm turning guys away, and other days I'm not getting anything. I'm just trying to figure out where to advertise to fill in those days when I don't get anything.
