I haven't been to the Banana, but I've been to some of the clubs in Providence now and again. Side note: it used to be that Providence had "extras" on the menu but that's pretty much not happening for around two years now.
In my experience, if you want to spend some time in a strip club and meet some of the ladies, then here's how it works:
- pick a seat where you have an open seat next to you.
- don't sit at the bar or at the stage (unless you want to interact with the girl on the stage)
- If you're interested in having someone sit with you, make eye contact and look inviting when they're walking
- if not, try not to make eye contact
- But if one of the ladies stops by and you're not at all interested, just say "I'm all set"
- For some reason "I'm all set" is the magic phrase
- I haven't seen the "expensive drink" scenario explained by others
- When she joins you, make small talk.
- You should decide within one song if you're into her or not.
- If not, I try to let her know in a nice way. Like "thanks for stopping by, it's nice to meet you." It might be nice to give her a small tip up to $5 at that point.
- If you do want to do something with her, the choices are generally "dances" and "rooms." Dances average $25-30 per song (4 minutes) and generally involve naked lap dances with mutual touching but your clothes on. Rooms vary by place, but there's generally something like $100 for 15 and it's fully nude and includes a HJ.
- Note that a lot of the girls do work outside of the clubs and you could say "I like you but I'm not really into lap dances" and there's a chance she'll give you her number.
Seeing an escort is generally much better, but a strip club could be a good place to spend a couple of hours and see a dozen hot girls.
