The ones who dropped $5-10 k on a weekend trip to the game probably have a lot more where that came from.

But Pats and Red Sox fans are notorious for over-betting on big spreads.  I think the Las Vegas line had the Pats giving 2-points.  In Boston, the bookies could probably get fans to bet on the Pats giving 10 points ... or 20 points!  Fans think the Pats are invincible!  Even though the Pats won, I wonder how the gamblers fared
