I use Date-Check and like others who have posted, have experienced relatively painless screening.  I even credit Date-Check for helping me land my first date, which I was trying for weeks as a newbie.

I guess the biggest reason you may be running into hobbyists who are not verified on one or more of these services is simply that the hobbyists are not aware of them.  

I think a small number worry about the cost, but at 125 USD for a lifetime membership, it's a steal given how much time is saved.

Hello.
Why are some P411 or Date Check verified and some not?
Most would agree that it is an easier way to keep all of your info in one place and best for screening purposes. I am unsure if there is a due for gents to pay that keeps them away but this is a great service in my opinion.

You only have to give out your information one time. There are ladies from all over the country on both sites, so it's great for guys like me, who travel. You don't have to keep asking ladies for references. The more ladies you see, the more referrals you get, and if you're a gentleman, clean and respectful, the ladies can give you higher ratings. (recommended, highly recommended, etc.)

Preferred411 has an annual membership fee of $69, one of my very favorite numbers. Date-Check is a one time, lifetime membership, and I think it costs $129.

I personally don't use them because of the cost, and who says their data warehouses are secure? I understand giving out my info multiple times increases risk, but once my data is in a huge target that has lots to offer an attacker, I'm at risk as well. Haven't seen you in a while...

May need to fix that. :)

For me, Date-Check has been great.  Coupled with TER whitelisting, it has made verification pretty smooth.

as I remember reading, you can use a visa cash card to pay for the service...
and come on, what is p411....$69, something like that -
Combined with TER white list.....GOLDEN!

I have used them both for years.

These two sites makes my life a lot easier to verify and then screen new friends.  :)

I love both sites and it's worth the price to join gentlemen!

I'd love to use these services but there is just no way I (and many others) can risk having our personal information at risk. Sure an individual provider or agency may leak something under pressure; but the disclosure risk of that is much less than with a large visible and centralized database which LE can access wiht a simple order

Exactly. But, even ignoring LE who might have jurisdiction problems, that's a huge target with an incredibly valuable payoff for hackers/identity thieves.

After completing the P411 screening process, I was told that my personal info would be destroyed, and all that would remain in the database would be my P411 ID #. If a hacker gets that, I don't think there's much he could do with it (other than perhaps request a date from someone.)

P411 does have an annual fee, but the site is elegantly organized and user-friendly. It has simplified screening in every session I've scheduled. I give it a big thumbs up! :-)
