Recently, I have been looking at the erotic section of Craigslist for Boston, just to see what was happening there.
The most notable difference between the boards (besides the obvious lack of style and presentation on Craigslist) is the fact that there appear to be continual "whore wars" going on there.
I must be naive, but I don't seem to see the same level of back-stabbing, innuendo (sp), griping and sniping here that appears to be going on over there.
Yes, we do seem to have our moments; I for one have been a part of some of our less stellar events. In general, I guess we should be pleased that we have a forum like TER (moderated and sane) to come and share in.
Kudos to the moderators (Thirsty from the past, and whoever is doing it now), we all appreciate the work you are doing to keep things sane here.
While TER does allow multiple aliases, at least when you post, you have to use a handle. A post on CL is totally anonymous, and the board is completely unmoderated. I agree that this leads to many abuses...
I also have been spending some time on CL, mostly because its Wild West type approach appeared interesting, but also because I'm always seeking that diamond in the rough. Although I've seen some recent and decent TER reviews on ladies found on CL, my one experience was a bad one. Shame on me--I should know better by now. For the serious hobbyist, or any of us who want to minimize the risk of throwing our money out the window, TER is by FAR the better resource. Not even close.
Were you ever able to set up a 'regular fling' through CL? I made a few attempts--was looking for a semi-regular sugar daddy type thing--but they all seemed to evaporate at the last minute.
