Tried to see someone at Belladonna and they really make it very difficult...

I have no home phone and work phone is a small company so what do you do???

Anyone else have such a hard time with them?

What do/did you do?  I was willing to do whatever and offered such but would not try to work with me...

Very, very discouraging....

Anyone know about their policy of not doing outcall to guys with Massachusetts IDs? How'd it go otherwise?

Thanks!

...or out of your keyboard in this case!
It sounds like you are saying you did not have a phone number that you were willing to give them for verification. I can't really tell from your post so please correct me if I'm wrong here...

I am self-employed and have a cell as my business phone. I have been a customer of TBD for four years and have never had trouble getting an appointment from them.

Verification is not a joke and it is not something that is done at your convenience.  The agency has a responsibility to protect the ladies that it represents...

At first, they want to make sure that you are who you say you are. A phone number a paramount throughout the verification process. The safety of their models is first priority; so call them and ask about another way to be verified.

Similar comments have been made regarding the difficulty of initial screening with other fine local agencies.

They need to know who you are and verify that, but otherwise they are the best agency around to deal with.

BostonGuy57, I only have a cellphone that I use for work also, I gave them that.  I have no home phone... I even gave them another phone number to help prove who I was.

Gave them my work phone, told them where it was for.
I work for a small company, 5 people and one phone with a general vm.

Gave them my name, city, state, and was willing to give them whatever they needed to verify...

Told me that because no one answered phone at work and no vm for me at work they could not help me...

Told them I was a member here.  I was willing to work with them in any way possible but they were less than helpful...

So tell me what I can do to get verified if you have had the same problem???

Many local guys, including myself, and regular posters on this board have used the agency regularly without a problem.  They are one of the best operations around, and any other reputable agency would probably have a similar verification policy.

Look at this situation from their perspective.  They are merely trying to ensure that you are who you say you are, that you are not LE, and that you do not pose a threat to the ladies.

As someone else suggested, you should try to work out an alternative method of verification with them.  That is unless you have already pissed off the phone girls, in which case it would be best to move on.

Safety first!

belladonna is top notch, must have been mis-communication

DJ, I tried to work out an alternative but she would not try to work with me...

So I am here to see what I can do.  I have used other places in Boston and have worked things out and never have had this problem.  Have also used travel girls and never had this much trouble...

I was not rude, did not yell, just asked if there was anything I could do and she said no.

All she said was call back when your work phone can be answered by someone not yourself...

I said ok, have a nice day.  So what can I do here???

I have never had a hard time with them.  Very courteous and professional.  You must have made them suspicious.

Four years ago I gave them my cell number and a reference from another Boston agency. I was seeing Karoleena (now retired) later that night...

If you don't have any other references and they can't get a call through to your work to verify you it sounds like you may be out of luck. They would probably be willing to accept a land line home phone number but you choose not to have one.
This is not the agency's fault and it does not make them "useless".  Every agency has their own policies for verification.  This is for the protection of the ladies and, believe it or not, for their customer's safety as well.

I don't know who you have seen lately but, outside of Craig's List, agency and Indies are both fairly tough about verification these days.

Hi Bobby,

You mentioned that you had seen other providers in Boston, as well as travel girls.  Maybe you could use one of these as a reference.

Alternatively, you have a board presence and reviews, and perhaps they would be willing to verify you on that basis.

If the above measures are not sufficient, I would simply move on.

Good luck,

DJ

You just don't seem to get it. If they can't actually verify your employment then you are not verified! Simply giving them the information is not enough.

I don't know what else a phone operator could have told you other than exactly what she said. You don't have any other means of verification that they can use.
Do you have references from other agencies or providers?

I have used TBD for the last year and I have always found them very accomodating.  Have you ever used an agency before -- certainly doesn't sound like you have.  Without the ability to verify your info, you shit out-of-luck.  Now, I suspect that they will never speak with you.  I'm sure they don't like to work with men that whine!

I had a less than satisfactory experience with one of their women (from out of town) a while ago, and when I politely pointed this out to them in an email, received a totally obnoxious reply from Dan (the owner), who then proceeded to try (unsuccessfully) to have me blacklisted by the other local agencies and by TER.

I guess that YMMV even with agencies...

If the agency has a location to visit, would they permit you visiting them in person to show your drivers license and maybe Business Tax ID?

I tried their online reservation a couple of times, put everything they asked for.  When I called to confirm, they said that they never received the info and to do it again.  So I did it again and once again, they "never got it".

There's always two sides of the story, we have been so fond of them for a very long time,  we hear the good things but never the bad... the wording for the original post may be to harsh but probably came out of frustation.  I wish I could use this agencies ladies but I really can't be verified by them since I changed my job.  My cell is the company's, my direct line is not listed and we don't have an operator to transfer calls.   and i really don't want the secretary at front taking the call, answering on behalf of the company and then sending it over to me; given i'm barely at my desk mostly at meetings.  And let's not go over landlines... :)

I am from out of state, TN to be precise, and I tried to set something up last year during a business trip.  Unfortunately I met with no success.

To start I sent email and filled out the online reservation form about a week ahead of time.  When I received no response I tried calling 2 or 3 days before my trip.  Before we could get to the particulars I was told that they did not schedule more than a day ahead and I should call back the day I was interested in.  At this point it was too late to realistically make alternate plans so I called back the day I left for Boston.

This time, as soon as I mentioned outcall I was informed that outcall was not available.  They did not ask if I was from out of town, who I wanted to see, when or what time.  Basically the ended up wasting the better part of a week when I could have been looking for other options.
