It is the most pricey however.

Other areas to consider are the Theater District and the Waterfront/North End, and Seaport Districts.

For price and convenience, you can't beat the airport, but it's boring out there unless you like to watch planes take off and land.

I'm thinking of visiting Boston in a few months maybe May just wondering whats the best areas as far as for taking local transportation and for safety and for the guys.

do a little research I can tell u this around april theres a marathon and late may through the end of june that's when all the graduations going on so all the hotel rates are going up but its also the best time to visit boston for site seeing the other months of ridiculous rates for hotels are sept & oct due to students coming back and the new England foliage
