I have never posted publicly about Christina Baker. But I am all too familiar with this incident. Since 'prolong' raised the question -- and only because he raised it -- I will tell my side of the story...
I have no idea what he is referring to concerning "The Red Queen" or even why that's relevant. It seems to me that the relevant issue is his contention that, "The assault on this poor girl's character has resurfaced on TBD Boston."
I don't know exactly what "resurfacing" he's referring to. Having searched the TBD board, I found no recent posts about Christina (or Laura Stinson, who is rumored to be the reincarnation of Christina Baker). But perhaps there were some relevant posts I didn't see that were deleted...
The most recent post that I found with reference to Christina/Laura was an ISO on January 27. This may be the post to which 'prolong' refers, although it is not strictly recent by my standards. There were several responses that were negative, one of which alleged certain improprieties concerning release of confidential client information...

Another post on January 16 made similar unsubstantiated claims and strongly suggested that hobbyists avoid Christina/Laura:

The original public allegation appeared on June 24 of last year and was immediately heavily edited by the Boston moderator, who then posted the following:

There are two ways to interpret these posts. One is that someone (or some group) is conducting a smear campaign against Christina/Laura... and that this someone may be a "TBD mafia" that would be motivated to seek revenge.
The other possibility is that where there is smoke, there is fire... and that some real impropriety occurred... but that those making the allegations did not go into details so as to keep these details private.
I can confirm that the latter is the case. At 1:20 am on a Friday night in early March of last year, my wife and I received a phone call. She answered and listened while a party on the other end said something. She then asked, "Who is this?", got no answer, and hung up. She assumed that it was a crank call, but when she relayed the other party's brief message to me, I immediately recognized the reference and knew that it was no ordinary crank call.
Two others received similar calls. With the help of the Boston moderator, we determined the identity of the caller and the means by which he got our names and home phone numbers. This same man also made a subsequent threat to "out" several of us to the media.
We are quite certain that Christina gave this man our confidential information. The post by the Boston moderator references her admission to that effect, although she evidently later recanted her statement.
As far as I am concerned, this whole incident is history. If Christina did release information -- and I personally am positive that she did -- I am quite sure that she would never be so stupid or careless as to do it again. I am a forgiving person, and I forgive her for her extreme error in judgment.
Nonetheless, I condemn the reprehensible release of my private information to another party. I have exchanged numerous emails with the man in question. We have jointly agreed that this incident -- however misguided and unfortunate it was -- is now history.
I have no vendetta whatsoever against Christina. In fact, I never saw her; she had my private information only because I had inquired with the intention of seeing her. But our schedules never coincided...
I note that some others have seen Christina/Laura subsequently and have been favorably impressed. Perhaps she has learned a good lession about discretion and confidentiality. It may be that there is absolutely no reason to be concerned about seeing her. That is for each man to decide. Obviously, I will not choose to ever see her... the memory of that incident is still all too vivid.
Personally, I hope that clients do see her and have a good time, so that she can get on with her life. If she has the means to be a good escort, I would hate to see her reputation ruined by one moment of incredible indiscretion. Nonetheless, I feel I have an obligation to the hobbying community to raise this issue as a potential warning flag...
Lastly, 'prolong' makes a number of unsubstantiated insinuations in his post. I have no information about many of these, so I have no comment. It is his right to post, and our obligation to weigh what we believe to be true. But I assure you 'prolong' that no TBD mafia will seek revenge for such a post.
The TBD mafia -- if such a thing exists -- may well come down very hard -- seek revenge if you will -- on the release of confidential information, unwarranted phone calls to a hobbyist's house, and a threat to 'out' hobbyists to the media... but every man and woman has a right to post his or her opinions...
Have fun, MG
