do you go back and forth with emails trying to get a specific time/date or do you just request a specific time/date and move on if not available?
Usually I suggest a day and time with backup dates in my mind. Also, I usually have to go with my back up dates so to answer your question, yes I usually go back and forth trying to get a day that works for us both.
thing in my experience. I suppose they could be waiting for confirmation from other appointments.
don't really prefer the back and forth. i'd rather pick a date and time and if she can't make it. oh well, on to the next.

included in the original email, I prefer your first choice of day and timeframe and a back up. I'm able to look at my calendar and see which can be set and confirmed. Relieves all the back and forth. Sometimes though, it's appreciated when a client resurfaces if we couldn't connect the first time, it lets me know that he really wanted to meet and I make sure we are able to connect this time....and of course make the meeting that much more special. A small effort goes a long way
I've often thought that both sides would be less frustrated with trying to make appointments if provider's calendars were updated instead of ignored for months on end.
